【 #港怡醫匯健康教室：乳癌風險篩查有法】
每年10月都係「國際乳癌關注月」，今年嘅主題係「每個故事都獨一無二，每段旅程都值得珍惜」，旨在展現乳癌患者多樣化嘅生命歷程，突顯早期檢測同公平醫療嘅重要性。🎗乳癌影響健康，更改變整個家庭的人生軌跡。因此，及早了解乳房健康篩查，儘早發現問題並及早處理，至為關鍵。
🔍自我檢查及臨床診斷
20歲以上嘅女士，建議每個月經期後自我檢查乳房。如果發現乳房有腫塊、凹陷、橙皮紋、淋巴腫脹等異常情況，又或者本身有乳癌、卵巢癌家族病史，就應該儘快搵醫生做臨床檢查，切勿胡亂猜測。
🖥造影檢査
由於觸診檢查嘅準確性會受腫塊大小同深淺度等影響，醫生會按病人情況，安排做適合嘅造影檢查：
• 乳房超聲波檢查：可分辨乳房腫塊係囊腫定腫瘤，檢查腋下淋巴結有無腫脹，適合乳房密度較高嘅年輕女性
• 2D平面乳房造影檢查：俗稱「夾胸檢查」，可偵測微鈣化點或未成形腫瘤嘅早期癌變
• 3D立體乳房造影檢查：結合唔同角度拍攝乳房圖像、改善2D平面乳房造影檢查中乳腺組織重疊嘅問題，準確度更高，對於高密度乳腺組織更有效
• 乳房磁力共振造影檢查（Breast MRI）：適合有高風險患上乳癌嘅婦女，例如有遺傳性乳癌基因嘅40歲以下婦女，以及曾接受隆胸整形嘅女士
🔬活組織檢查
如果造影檢查結果出現異常，就可能需要進一步做活組織檢查，即係從乳房抽取細胞樣本，喺顯微鏡下搵出係癌症定係良性瘤。萬一確診癌症，就要分辨出係原位癌定係入侵性癌，儘早做適當治療。
提提你：乳癌唔係不治之症，早期乳癌係有機會根治。20歲以上婦女記得每月定期自我檢查乳房，而且最少每兩年進行一次臨床及造影檢查。如果發現乳房有腫塊，就要儘快睇醫生。

【 : Breast cancer risk screening to protect yourself】
October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year’s theme, “Every Story is Unique, Every Journey Matters,” highlights the diverse experiences of breast cancer patients and the importance of timely detection and equitable healthcare. 🎗Breast cancer can significantly impact the life of patients and their families. That’s why understanding breast health screening early helps with timely detection and treatment.
🔍Self-Exams and Clinical Diagnosis
Women aged 20 and above are advised to perform a monthly breast self-exam after their menstrual cycle. If you notice lumps, dimples, an orange-peel texture, swollen lymph nodes, or have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, consult a doctor promptly.
🩻Imaging Tests
As physical examination may miss small or deep lumps, doctors may recommend:
• Breast Ultrasound: Differentiates between cysts and tumours, checks for swollen lymph nodes in the armpit, suitable for younger women with dense breast tissue
• 2D Mammogram: Detects microcalcifications or early-stage tumors
• 3D Mammogram: Reduces the overlap found in 2D mammograms by capturing images from multiple angles, offering greater accuracy, especially in dense breast tissue.
• Breast MRI: Recommended for high-risk women, such as those under 40 with genetic predisposition or those who have had breast cancer, as well as for women with breast implants.
🔬Biopsy
If imaging results are abnormal, a biopsy may be needed to determine whether the cells are cancerous or benign, and to identify the cancer type for prompt treatment.
Tip: Breast cancer is curable, especially in its early stages. Women aged 20 and above are encouraged to perform monthly breast self-exams and schedule a clinical and imaging screenings at least every two years. If you notice any abnormalities, seek medical advice promptly.
