Did you know that 84% of orchestral musicians experience pain that affects their ability to play?

Repetitive strain, long hours of practice, and static posture can all contribute to injuries like:
• Tendonitis
• Neck and back pain
• Thoracic stiffness
• Muscle tension and cramping

These aren’t just “part of the job” — they’re common issues we help identify and manage at PhysioCentral.

A physiotherapist can work with you to understand what's causing the pain and support your recovery through tailored strategies.

Leading the Conversation on Healthy Aging with Candice

We are proud to spotlight the recent contributions of our Physiotherapist in Pelvic Health, Candice ( ), who was a featured panelist at a Canadian Chamber event on Aging Gracefully hosted at Google HK.

As a leader in her field, Candice addressed key topics surrounding the physiology of aging and its impact on pelvic health in males and females. Her dedication to education was evident as she also guided attendees through a practical and mindful pelvic floor awareness exercise. ✨

Thank you, Candice, for representing PhysioCentral and for continuing to be a passionate advocate for pelvic health!

Shoulder pain creeping in after hours at your desk? 🪑😣 It’s a common issue we treat—and the good news is, a few simple stretches can make a big difference!

Here are 3 easy moves to release tension and get your shoulders feeling better:

✅ Wall Angels
Stand with your back flat against a wall, feet a few inches away from it. Keep your lower back, upper back, and head touching the wall. Raise your arms to shoulder height and bend your elbows at 90 degrees (like a goalpost). Slowly slide your arms up and down the wall while keeping them in contact with it. Repeat 10-15 times.

✅ Cross-Body Shoulder Stretch
Bring your right arm across your chest. Use your left hand to gently pull it closer to your body. Hold for 20-30 seconds, then switch sides.

✅ Thread the Needle Stretch
On all fours, slide your right arm underneath your left arm, palm facing up. Lower your right shoulder and ear to the ground. Hold for 20-30 seconds, then repeat on the other side.

These stretches help ease stiffness, improve mobility, and prevent future discomfort. Give them a try and let us know how you feel! 🙌
