🐾 What a fantastic day we had on the first day at Doggo Fest! Together with many dog lovers, we shared a wonderful time filled with joy, love, and furry cuddles. 🐶❤️

我們非常高興向大家宣佈全科獸醫Jaclyn Lynda CHITTY醫生正式加入我們城大動物醫療中心的團隊！ 🐾

Jaclyn醫生於2015年畢業於英國格拉斯哥大學。隨後，她在英國東南部從事小動物全科獸醫8年。

她深信要成為一位全面的獸醫才能更好照顧患病的動物，因此她取得了小動物外科及內科的深造證書，並累積了急症及重症護理方面的臨床經驗。

2023年，她移居到香港，並享受探索這座城市及其離島。在工餘時間，她喜歡進行室內抱石、瑜伽及其他健身活動保持健康。

我們熱切期待Jaclyn 醫生未來日子會讓更多有需要的小動物得到適切治療，讓更多小動物的健康受惠。再次歡迎Jaclyn 醫生加入我們的團隊！ 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. CHITTY Jaclyn Lynda, Primary Care Veterinarian, to our team at CityU Veterinary Medical Centre! 🐾

Dr. Jaclyn graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2015. She then entered small animal general practice in the southeast of England for eight years.

She believes strongly in being an all-rounded vet to care for her patients and achieved a postgraduate certificate in both Small Animal Surgery and Small Animal Internal Medicine, and has gained clinical experience in Emergency and Critical Care.

In 2023, she moved to Hong Kong and has enjoyed exploring the city and its outlying islands. In her spare time, she likes to keep fit with indoor bouldering, yoga, and other fitness activities.

We are excited to have Dr. Jaclyn on board and look forward to the invaluable contributions he will make to our practice and the care of our patients. Welcome to the team! 🎉

「貓要養好 總需要獸醫扶持 」
為咗令我哋廣大貓民可以對貓生了解多啲，星期一我哋會定為「健康星期一 Cat Monday」；當中會邀請獸醫們提供唔同嘅養貓小貼士，務求各位家人們養貓可以養得更加得心應手😊✌🏻

😺：何時應該開始帶寵物接受定期血液檢查？

定期由獸醫為寵物進行健康檢查和血液檢查對於監測寵物的健康狀況非常重要，應該在寵物的一生中持續進行。對於幼犬和幼貓，建議在大約六到八週大時進行首次健康檢查，並在接種疫苗時進行後續訪診，屆時可能會根據具體健康狀況建議進行血液檢查。對於成年寵物，年度健康檢查通常會包括血液檢查，以評估器官功能並及早發現潛在疾病。在寵物進入老年期（通常約七歲或以上）時，定期進行血液檢查（每年或每半年一次）變得尤為重要，以監測與年齡相關的健康問題。定期的獸醫訪診和血液檢查對於確保寵物的長期健康和幸福具有關鍵作用。

我們非常高興向大家宣佈，備受尊敬的全科獸醫吳智聰醫生正式加入我們城大動物醫療中心的團隊！ 🐾

吳智聰醫生於2017年澳洲悉尼大學獸醫科學士畢業，並於2020年在墨爾本大學獲得小動物腹部超聲波深造證書。在澳洲執業8年後，他於2025年返回香港。

吳醫生對小動物醫學與外科各個領域均充滿熱誠，尤其對放射學有濃厚興趣。他熱衷於與寵物主人建立長期的關係，並幫助他們提升毛孩的生活質素。

在臨床工作以外，吳醫生會定期參加工作坊及研討會，以緊貼獸醫醫療的最新發展。精通三語(英語、廣東話及普通話) 的吳醫生十分重視清晰的溝通，努力讓每位客人及其寵物都感到安心和被關懷。

除獸醫工作外，吳醫生喜愛打保齡球和滑雪。在家中，他是 Horlick 和 Marble 驕傲的貓咪家人。

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Clarence Ng , a highly esteemed Primary Care Veterinarian, to our team at CityU Veterinary Medical Centre! 🐾

Dr. Clarence NG graduated from The University of Sydney in 2017 and later obtained a Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Ultrasound Abdominal from The University of Melbourne in 2020. After eight years of practice in Australia, he returned home to Hong Kong in 2025.

Dr. Clarence enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with particular interests in radiology. He is passionate about building long-term relationships with pet owners and helping them enhance the quality of life of their beloved companions.

Outside of clinical work, Dr. Clarence regularly attends workshops and seminars to stay up to date with the latest advances in veterinary care. Being tri-lingual (English, Cantonese, and Mandarin), he values clear communication and strives to make every client and pet feel comfortable and cared for.

Beyond veterinary medicine, Dr. Clarence enjoys tenpin bowling and snowboarding. At home, he is a proud cat parent to two feline companions, Horlick and Marble.

We are excited to have Dr. Clarence on board and look forward to the invaluable contributions he will make to our practice and the care of our patients. Welcome to the team! 🎉

我們非常高興向大家宣佈，備受尊敬的麻醉及鎮痛專科獸醫羅宇航醫生正式加入我們城大動物醫療中心的團隊！ 🐾

羅宇航醫生在香港出生及長大，2015年於澳洲悉尼大學取得獸醫學位。畢業後，羅醫生曾於香港多間繁忙的24小時動物醫院實習，累積了扎實的獸醫經驗。2020年，他加入城大動物醫療中心麻醉科，在麻醉科專科醫生指導下工作，期間獲得寶貴的專業知識及接受了臨床培訓。

這段經歷為他在獸醫麻醉職業生涯奠定了基礎，並於2022年獲得世界知名的美國加州大學戴維斯分校錄取，進行麻醉及鎮痛科專科培訓。他在9位學院麻醉科教授的指導及監督下，為全球最大的獸醫教學醫院提供麻醉服務。在為期3 年的住院獸醫培訓中，他掌握了全面的理論知識與臨床技能，能夠為各類最複雜的病例施行麻醉。

2025年，羅醫生成功通過美國獸醫麻醉及鎮痛學院專科獸醫的認證，成為麻醉科專科獸醫。完成專科培訓後，他重新加入城大動物醫療中心，並很高興能再次為香港的寵物提供服務。羅醫生對小動物麻醉深感興趣，尤其專注於呼吸機、局部麻醉及患有心血管疾病的麻醉。同時，他亦致力於推動香港獸醫界的持續教育與培訓，以提升業界標準。

工餘時間，羅醫生是一位小朋友的父親，他熱衷於行山及攝影，也喜歡在香港發掘美食和咖啡。

我們熱切期待羅宇航醫生未來日子會讓更多有需要的小動物得到適切治療，讓更多小動物的健康受惠。再次歡迎羅宇航醫生加入我們的團隊！ 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Rapheal LAW, a highly esteemed specialist in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, to our team at CityU Veterinary Medical Centre! 🐾

Dr. Raphael Law was born and raised in Hong Kong, and obtained his veterinary degree from the University of Sydney in 2015. After graduation he had practiced at different busy 24-hour hospitals in Hong Kong, obtaining solid general practice experiences. In 2020 he joined the anaesthesia team at CityU Veterinary Medical Centre (CityU VMC) as an anaesthesia clinician, working under board certified anaesthesia specialists and gained valuable knowledge and hands-on training.

This paved the way for his career in veterinary anaesthesia and in 2022 he was privileged to be accepted into the world-renowned University of California, Davis for residency training in anaesthesia and analgesia. There, under the mentorship and supervision of 9 faculty anaesthesiologists he provided anaesthesia service to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, the largest university teaching hospital in the world. Over this 3-year residency he gained comprehensive theoretical knowledge and extensive clinical training to handle the most difficult and challenging anaesthetic patients regardless of species.

He had successfully passed the certifying exam and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2025, officially qualifying as a board certified specialist veterinary anaesthetist. He re-joined CityU VMC after completing residency and is delighted to again serve the pet population of Hong Kong. He is interested in all aspects of small animal anaesthesia, in particular mechanical ventilation, locoregional anaesthesia and anaesthesia for patients with cardiovascular diseases. He is also keen to contribute to continued education and training for the general veterinary community of Hong Kong to help improve the standards of practice.

Outside of work, Dr. Raphael is a father, (once) a keen landscape photographer and hiker. He also enjoys discovering new food and coffee around Hong Kong.

We are excited to have Dr. Raphael on board and look forward to the invaluable contributions he will make to our practice and the care of our patients. Welcome to the team! 🎉
