Joanne Ka Yun Leung is the founder of Motion Focus Physiotherapy. She graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2009. She completed the Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) in 2012 from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia. Having worked at private clinics for 5 years, Joanne decided to start her own practice in 2015. She is interested in human movements and in analysing how the human body adapts to pain with or without structural abnormality. Joanne is a certified DMA clinical Pilates instructor and believes in the importance of therapeutic exercises in rehabilitation for most cases. She is a certified acupuncturist and sometimes uses acupuncture as part of her treatment.
