今天3/11/2021 是一年一度的 #健康一體 日。自2016年起世界各地均會舉辦健康一體相關的活動，宣揚健康一體概念，並在3/11這天與國際組織 ONE HEALTH COMMISSION 共同推廣健康一體概念。LSM LABORATORY LIMITED 在2017年參與了次年的健康一體日活動，而今年又再次有本地組織登記了健康一體日活動，大家可以到以下 ONE HEALTH COMMISSION 網頁睇睇世界各地包括香港於今年登記的健康一體日活動。

23rd April is the World Laboratory Day. Miracles happen everyday. Invention, research, measurement, diagnostic, all these sciences merge to make laboratory a place for miracles to contribute. Being one of the sustainable laboratory, like all of our professionals, we put our effort on quality management to ensure the livelihood of the public - to get an accurate diagnosis, and not to be threatened by an escaped bug from the laboratory. Apart from these, we share what we get. We share professional knowledge, we share findings, we make use of approach to deliver information to the public on how to help for a sustainable world, to work out strategies for disease detection and prevention. We love laboratory, and we love all the miracles and for sure we will find a way to control the crisis.

首個相關的大型研究證實，全球有不少河流被抗菌素污染。河水中高濃度的抗菌素有機會引發細菌產生抗藥性，而這些細菌會經不同途徑進入人體及動物身體而導致抗藥性細菌感染。從很多方面河水可以被抗菌素污染：農業、畜牧業、工業、以致人類活動都會產生含抗菌素的污水。如果處理不當，這些污水就會直接污染河水。污染的河水可能又被使用作灌溉，被水上及陸地動物使用，或直接污染食物鏈。所以對抗抗菌素抗藥性並不單只在醫學上下功夫，農業，畜牧業，環境衛生管理，獸醫等等都要參與，這就是健康一體的運作模式，需要各個專業範疇一起制定長遠策略，對抗抗菌素抗藥性的發展。 #健康一體

又一個以「健康一體」為理念的委員會開始運作。世界各地正以「健康一體」的概念制定不同政策，以對抗傳染病及抗菌素抗藥性為目標，為地球健康而努力。香港雖然亦已起步，但健康一體政策需要廣泛人士的參與，單靠政府及大學的工作實在難以有效地推動健康一體的全面發展。作為微生物化驗室，我們亦積極地參與健康一體全球組織 ONE HEALTH COMMISSION 為全球推廣健康一體的教育政策的制定，希望在不同層面有效地推動健康一體理念，最終令健康一體政策有效地運用，減低傳染病及抗菌素抗藥性對大眾的威脅。 #健康一體

【世界防治結核病日】每年3月24日是世界衛生組織制定的「世界防治結核病日」。目的是為了提高公眾對結核病的關注。結核病仍然是世界上最具殺傷力的傳染病。根據世界衛生組織資料顯示，每年有接近4500人因結核病而喪生。結核病並非不治之症，只需要服用抗結核病菌藥，痊癒的機會率相當高。當然現今已經出現抗藥性結核病桿菌，但並非不能治癒。世界衛生組織亦開展了一項名為 “Find. Treat. All. ” 的活動，目的是要透過發現，治療以減低以致停止結核病感染。雖然在香港成長的市民很多都已接種了疫苗，但每年新增的個案均有數千宗。所以大家都應該保持身體有良好的免疫力，對抗結核桿菌感染。有長期咳嗽病徵就要接受醫生診斷。如不幸患上結核病，就要尊從醫生提供對服用抗結核桿菌藥物的治療方案，確保病情得到控制。
