🏥 Medical Mission in San Pedro Sula 🇭🇳
The Barandillas Church in San Pedro Sula hosted a medical mission in coordination with our medical and dental team. 🩺✨ They were able to serve 70 patients in general medicine and pediatrics 👶, and 48 patients in dental services. 🦷
The team consisted of 9 health professionals and 2 students from the Baxter Institute 🎓, who shared the Word of God with the patients, and we joyfully celebrate the baptism of two people! 🙏📖 We thank the Barandillas Church of Christ for opening your doors and allowing us to serve. 🤝🙌

Every month, families in the Nutrition Program receive a food basket designed to improve the nutritional health of these children. Each basket contains essential supplies for a balanced diet, benefiting them.🍎 In addition, the little ones receive regular medical and dental care to ensure comprehensive health monitoring. All of this is possible thanks to the generosity of people who, through their contributions, wish to transform the lives of others. ✨

So today I had all day to sip on my La Carreta Espresso and reflect on how I like the airport. Here I sense a world of many nations and peoples … and where usually I find someone to talk to (I thank my mom, Leah Teel for that love of others.)

Yesterday, the leadership and faculty of Baxter shared a pleasant lunch with the teaching staff from Escuela Jorge J. Larach in Tegucigalpa. More than just a meal, it was an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of collaboration and friendship between both institutions. 🏛️
Every day, our students’ children receive the “bread of knowledge” from these great men and women who are deeply committed to education. Thank you for your dedication and for supporting our mission! 📚

(In Honduras)✨👨‍👧‍👦 Yesterday, the fathers of our institution enjoyed a wonderful time filled with joy celebrating their day. 🎊 We had the privilege of listening to beautiful songs performed by Yariel and his daughter Evelyn 🎤🎶, shared moments of laughter with fun activities, and enjoyed a delicious Nicaraguan snack. 😋🇳🇮 Thank you, fathers, for loving your families and for being an example of service and love for the Lord to your children. 🙌📖

Last Friday, March 6, Baxter welcomed a wonderful group of volunteers from Belmont University 🇺🇸. After spending a week serving at Jóvenes en Camino, they extended their impact by partnering with our clinic through the coordination of their Executive Leadership team.

During their visit, 30 patients received free specialized care in functional therapy, occupational therapy, and general medicine 🩺✨—a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished through collaboration and compassion.

We are truly grateful for this partnership, which strengthens our relationship and reflects our ongoing commitment to initiatives that bring meaningful change to our community ❤️🤝

Today, we had the honor of sharing our devotional time with Dudley and Vicky Chancey, who are visiting us from Edmond, Oklahoma. 🇺🇸✨ Since 1998, this exemplary couple has traveled to Honduras with youth groups from the Memorial Road Church of Christ to carry out invaluable social work.
Dudley, a retired professor from Oklahoma Christian University, continues his mission through writing books and organizing events such as Winterfest, which hosts more than 5,000 young people every year. We thank God for their lives, their faith, and their tireless heart for service! 🙌🇭🇳

We are delighted to introduce our sister Ingrisd Rodríguez, who joins the Institute’s team as an Academic Assistant 📋🤝. Ingrisd has been a faithful member of the church for many years and now offers her talents to our educational community, backed by a solid academic background including a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s degrees in both Finance and Human Resources 🎓💰👥.
