Our Story

Drage kolegice i dragi kolege, sretna sam što vas mogu po deseti put pozdraviti u ime svih članova Organizacijskog, Znanstvenog i Počasnog odbora NeuRi - Studentskog kongresa neuroznanosti! Prvih devet kongresa protekli su u znaku stvaranja riječke neuroznanstvene prepoznatljivosti i pozicioniranja među studentskim kongresima, a sve zahvaljujući interesu mladih umova za sav spektar funkcije najčudesnijeg i najtajanstvenijeg ljudskog organa - mozga. Neuroznanost je danas u fokusu suvremenog znanstveno-istraživačkog rada kao znanost koja može dati odgovore na brojne nepoznanice, prvenstveno one neurološkog ili psihijatrijskog karaktera. Neuroznanstvene bi spoznaje mogle mijenjati kliničku praksu, uspješnije bi se moglo liječiti i prevenirati bolesti i, naposljetku, podizati kvalitetu života. Nadam se kako i NeuRi – Studentski kongres neuroznanosti daje svoj sasvim malen, ali postojan doprinos tom globalnom cilju. Pod motom „Edukacija & Iskustvo“ želimo potaknuti mlade zaljubljenike u neuroznanost na istraživanje mozga te im omogućiti upoznavanje s kolegama i znanstvenicima s kojima dijele slične interese, širenje spoznaja, učenje i stjecanje nezaboravnih iskustava. Koristim ovu priliku najsrdačnije vas pozivati na 10. studentski kongres neuroznanosti - NeuRi 2020. Za vas smo pripremili tri bogata dana znanstveno-stručnog i društvenog programa na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Rijeci, u gradu Rijeci – “gradu koji teče“, kao i na otoku Rabu s divnim domaćinima u Psihijatrijskoj bolnici Rab. Drage studentice i dragi studenti, i ove godine više desetaka vaših kolega, kao i brojni znanstvenici i nastavnici marljivo će se truditi da pripreme najbolju atmosferu studentskog znanstvenog kongresa, koji ćete, obećajemo, pamtiti cijeli život! Dobrodošli u Rijeku i Rab na NeuRi 2020! Josipa Kajić Predsjednica NeuRi 2020 ----------------------------------- Dear colleagues, I am happy to greet you for the tenth time, on the behalf of all the members of the Organizing, Scientific, and Honorary Committee of NeuRi – Student Congress of Neuroscience! The past six of the congresses were marked by the creation of neuroscientific recognition and position of Rijeka among student congresses, all of it thanks to the interest of young minds for the whole range of functions about the most wonderful and most mysterious part of the human body - the brain. Today, neuroscience is the focus of modern scientific research as a science that can provide answers to a number of uncertainties, particularly those of neurological or psychiatric nature. Neuroscientific findings could change clinical practice, lead to the more successful treatment and prevention of illnesses, and ultimately raise the quality of life. I hope that NeuRi - Student Congress of Neuroscience also gives its small, but steady contribution to that global objective. Under the motto "Education & Experience" we want to encourage young lovers of neuroscience to explore the brain and also enable them to meet with colleagues and scientists with whom they share similar interests, to broaden the knowledge, to learn, and to gain unforgettable experiences. I would like to use this opportunity to most sincerely invite you to the 10th Student Congress of Neuroscience - NeuRi 2020. We have prepared three rich days of scientific and social programs at the University of Rijeka in the city of Rijeka - "the city that flows", as well as on the island Rab with a wonderful hosts in the Rab Psychiatric hospital. Dear students, this year dozens of your colleagues, as well as a number of scientists and teachers will diligently try to prepare the best atmosphere of student scientific congress, which you will, we promise, remember for a lifetime!
