Villa Domus Dominica

Luxury Villa Domus Dominica spreads over two floors. Central room is a spacious, living and dining room which has a direct access to the beautiful covered terrace with great panoramic view. Perfect place to relax with your friends and family. This charming villa can accomodate up to 10 persons. The house is organized around three yards that have multiple functions: provide enough natural light, create natural ventilation and provide protection from the strong winds coming from the nearby mountain. Like all modern homes, this has a pool that is "drawn" out of the hills and has specially built sun protection designed to maximize shade when the sun reaches its highest point.The interior is decorated with stone and concrete walls whose color is adapted to the dark and brown tones of the landscape, while the floor is externally covered with a wooden floor.The warm color of wood on the floor and windows contrasts with the rough surroundings and is ideally suited to the whole project of this beautiful house in nature.The property extends on the surface of 3700m2 and has 4 bedrooms,3,5 bathrooms, itchen with dining room and large terrace and garden with swimmingpool 48m2. Parking on 200m2.

There are many forts and piles that testify Donji Vinjani has been inhabited since Prehistory. There are tombstones on nine localities.

There are few theories about Vinjani name. Some say it was named after people who have vine (Croatian vinjani) and others that it was named after tribe Vinjani from Middle Ages.

Vinjani was first time mentioned in 1371. in a letter.

In 1717. Vinjani belonged to Venice after Venetian-Turkish wars.

In 1747. Vinjani was declared as independent parish.

Nearest larger town is Imotski. You can visit its attractions Red and Blue lakes. In Imotski you will also find restaurants, cafes, stores, pharmacy, banks, post office and everything you might need during your stay.
