REGISTRATION OPENED FOR TWO EVENTS☝

As part of the cross-border project LivingLab GreenStudio 1.0 , two events will be held in November dedicated to the presentation and testing of the new EcoTech Transfer platform—a digital tool developed to foster collaboration between the scientific and business sectors and accelerate the practical application of green technologies.

✅ The platform aims to connect researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and innovators, enabling easier technology transfer, greater visibility of research results, and improved processes for the commercialization of knowledge and innovation. The focus is on supporting the development of solutions that contribute to a sustainable economy and the green transition.

1️⃣4️⃣ NEW PROJECTS AHEAD :) CHECK THEM OUT...

At the Monitoring Committee meeting, financing of 14 project applications was approved within the 2nd Call for Proposals.

✅ The total EU funds available for projects within the 2nd Call for Proposals were 11,47 million euro and a total of 77 applications were received.

☝ The applicants requested almost 49 million euro of EU funds.

POGLEDAJTE VIDEO KAKO SE KROZ UMJETNOST UČI O EU PROJEKTIMA :)

U sklopu kampanje „EU in my school“, Europska komisija i Ministarstvo regionalnoga razvoja i fondova Europske unije organizirali su posjet EU projektima u Ernestinovu i Vukovaru, kojem su se pridružili učenici Osnovna škola Ernestinovo i štićenici SOS-Dječje selo Hrvatska iz Ladimirevaca.

✅ Učenici su mogli vidjeti kako EU projekti mijenjaju lokalne zajednice nabolje, osobito kroz razvoj kulturnog turizma.

👉 Mališani su obišli budući Kreativni dječji centar koji se gradi u sklopu projekta Innatus - Initiative for Naïve Art and Sustainable Tourism. Ondje su posjetili galeriju s drvenim skulpturama naivnih umjetnika i sudjelovali u kreativnoj radionici rezbarenja drveta.

👉 Posjetili su i Muzej vučedolske kulture / Vučedol culture museum čiji se postav stalno unaprjeđuje zahvaljujući EU projektima. Tamo su se upoznali s drevnom tradicijom tetoviranja karakterističnom za vučedolsku kulturu.

CHILDREN LEARNED ABOUT EU PROJECTS IN SLAVONIA THROUGH ART

As part of the "EU in my school" campaign, European Commission and the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds of Croatia organized a visit to EU-funded projects in Ernestinovo and Vukovar late last week.

✅ The visit included pupils from Osnovna škola Ernestinovo and children from SOS-Dječje selo Hrvatska in Ladimirevci. The young participants had the opportunity to see firsthand how EU projects are positively transforming local communities, especially through the development of cultural tourism.

1️⃣ The students first toured the construction site of the Creative Children's Center in Ernestinovo, which is being built as part of the project Innatus - Initiative for Naïve Art and Sustainable Tourism funded through the Interreg IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia–Serbia. Guided by experts, they also visited a gallery featuring wooden sculptures by naive artists, and later took part in a creative workshop where they tried their hand at woodcarving.

2️⃣ After Ernestinovo, the group visited the Muzej vučedolske kulture / Vučedol culture museum whose exhibitions are continuously being enhanced through EU-funded projects. There, they learned about the ancient tattooing traditions that were characteristic of Vučedol culture.

STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN Interreg COOPERATION DAY IN OSIJEK :)

To mark Interreg Cooperation Day, the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences in Osijek, in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, hosted a student-focused event highlighting the Interreg and Interreg IPA Croatia–Serbia programmes, as well as the strategic project ADAPTvitis.

✅ The event placed special emphasis on the Interreg IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Croatia–Serbia, which supports projects across an area home to approximately 2.1 million people.

➡ This programme fosters development in key sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, social services, entrepreneurship, culture, tourism, and the green transition.

👉 Numerous successful projects have already improved the quality of life for citizens in both Croatia and Serbia.

MAJOR BOOST FOR SMALL CHEESE PRODUCERS 🐄🧀

A new lyophilizer was officially handed out to the Association of artisan cheese producers in Novi Sad. This state-of-the-art equipment represents the most significant investment in the dairy sector of both countries thanks to the Milkyway project.

👉 During the trial run, it demonstrated excellent results in the lyophilization of cheese, whey, and milk – with a moisture content below 2% and water activity below 0.2. This technology provides opportunities for the development of new premium milk products.

PROGRAM KOJI ZBLIŽAVA DVIJE SUSJEDNE ZEMLJE 😀

Ove godine Interreg slavi 35. rođendan, a glavna proslava održat će se 21. rujna kada se obilježava "Dan Interreg suradnje". U pograničnim područjima Hrvatske provodi se nekoliko Interreg programa, a jedan od najvažnijih je Interreg IPA Hrvatska–Srbija. Od 2014. taj program pozitivno utječe na živote mnogih prekograničnih zajednica potičući snažniju suradnju između dviju zemalja.

✅ Zahvaljujući tom programu, građani dobivaju kvalitetniju socijalnu skrb i zdravstvo, unaprjeđuju se zaštita okoliša i energetska učinkovitosti te se potiče razvoj turizma, kulture i poduzetništva.

👉 Tijekom programskog razdoblja 2014.–2020. provedeno je 48 projekata, uz sufinanciranje od 30,9 milijuna eura iz fondova EU-a.

👉 U aktualnom razdoblju 2021.–2027. na raspolaganju je gotovo 34,8 milijuna eura iz EU fondova za razvoj novih projekata.

Interreg REACT NEW CAPACITIES FOR EDUCATION AND INNOVATION

The project RE@CT – Regional Empowerment for Advanced Collaboration and Technology demonstrates what cross-border cooperation means in practice.

STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY FOR CHEESE PRODUCTION ACQUIRED 🐄

Within the framework of the project Milkyway – Pannonian Super Food: Advancing Artisan Cheese Production with Innovative Technology, a new freeze-dryer was put into trial operation.

✅ During the trial cycle, the equipment supplier successfully freeze-dried approximately 300 liters of whey, and samples were taken as part of the verification and equipment acceptance procedure.
