The God's Promise in Haiti Staff and our Board Members woke up this morning to the following:

Statement from the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti:

"Critical and life-threatening shortages of food, water, medicine, gasoline, electricity, and medical supplies continue throughout much of Haiti. Public and private medical clinics and hospitals often lack qualified medical staff and even basic medical equipment and resources."

God's Promise in Haiti remains committed to our mission of serving Haitians in the Port-au-Prince Metro Area.

Once again, tragedy struck Haiti in the form of a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in southern Haiti. The epicenter is approximately 75 miles from the God's Promise in Haiti campus; thus, we received no damage.

However, my ministry has deployed 2 physicians, Docteur Exantus Mickenson and Wideline Pamphile with medicine, medical supplies, food, and water to the affected area. This requires substantial financial support, so I am requesting that my Facebook friends consider making a financial commitment of some kind to support our effort. Gifts of all sizes are important!
