We’re happy to see our colleague, Gelencsér-Horváth Anna, featured by Project Stream IT. Her work on AI and computer vision brings us closer to developing assistive solutions in LetSeeApp for people with visual impairments.
Örömmel osztjuk meg, hogy kollégánk, Gelencsér-Horváth Anna munkáját a Project Stream IT is bemutatta. Az AI és számítógépes látás területén végzett kutatása fontos része a LetSeeApp funkcióinak fejlesztésében, amelyek célja a látássérült emberek mindennapi életének támogatása.
✨🌐 Meet Gelencsér-Horváth Anna , a computer engineer at the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics of Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE). Drawn to mathematics and biology in high school, she pursued computer science with a focus on bionics. Her primary research interest lies in the automatic processing and understanding of visual information, leading her to join the Hungarian Bionic Vision Center at PPKE after her PhD.
Her research centers on applying artificial intelligence and developing computer vision techniques to create efficient visual processing methods. 🤖 Driven by the potential for positive impact, her goal is to realize a non-invasive bionic eyeglass. This device aims to assist blind and visually impaired individuals in their daily lives by enabling object and color recognition, supporting autonomous navigation, and facilitating interaction with complex environments, ultimately improving their access to visual information and enhancing their independence.
