The Integral European Conferences are the main gatherings in Europe for the global integral community

Purpose:
The purpose of Integral Europe is to embody, represent, teach, develop and give voice to integral consciousness and its resulting practical applications on a European basis. (As our common reference point and basis we use the AQAL model of Ken Wilber, while also being open to alternative, like-minded, like-spirited, encompassing and integral approaches.) Vision:
Our vision is to weave together European initiatives to develop integral practices, bringing peace and blessing to the world.

IEC 2025 – DAY 1: A Sacred Beginning
May 28, Wednesday

📸 With this final post, we complete our backwards-in-time photo series of the IEC 2025. Let’s return to where it all began, Day 1, the ceremonial opening of our shared journey.

The conference officially opened with an inspiring orientation led by Bence Gánti, Hanna Hündorf, and Christiane Seuhs-Schoeller, welcoming participants from around the globe into the integral field.

We then explored Wyrd Technologies with Peter Merry and Michael Oswald, setting a tone of innovation and depth. This flowed into the Global Sharing Circle, held by Bence Gánti, where hearts met across cultures in a wave of connection.

The afternoon unfolded with profound keynotes:
– Susanne Cook-Greuter was challenging us with What’s Problematic with Grand Integral Theories?
– Tom Habib on Integral’s Charismatic Presence
– Ken Wilber, live via Zoom, on Finding Radical Wholeness

The evening closed with a deeply moving Memorial Event, honoring integral pioneers and departed souls, held by Christine Baser Habib, Said Dawlabani, Craig Hamilton, and Marco Morelli.

And then came the Opening Dinner…
A sacred feast for body and spirit, accompanied by mesmerizing Sufi swirling and the transcendent music of Gozlan Fatu and her band. A ritual of arrival, celebration, and remembrance, the integral tribe gathering once more.

IEC 2025 – DAY 2: From Inner Development to Ecstatic Celebration
May 29, Thursday

📸 Join us as we continue our backward journey through time at IEC 2025. Today, we revisit the second day, filled with insight, depth, movement, and sacred connection.

We began the morning with Tomas Björkman’s keynote on Inner Development Goals, offering an integral perspective on the inner work needed for global transformation. The Elevator Pitches introduced a diverse array of Thursday’s presenters and themes.

Brian Robertson then took us Beyond Holacracy, exploring the intersections of love, psychedelics, and community, followed by Dr. Pier Luigi Lattuada, who shared the Triunity Process and its archetypal foundations, a doorway into integrative healing and consciousness.

The night pulsed with aliveness:
We gathered in movement and music at the Ecstatic Dance with Zoltán Kerényi-Kiss, embodying freedom and joy together as the integral tribe. Meanwhile came Arke, a powerful and poetic performance art piece by Maya Lewandowsky, guiding us from the primal to the divine. The evening closed in sacred stillness with Hillen Cocq’s Finding Wholeness in Prayer, creating a gentle landing for the soul.

IEC 2025 – DAY 3: The Miracle of WE and a Global Field of Connection
May 30, Friday

📸 We continue our journey backwards in time through the days of IEC 2025. Today, we revisit Day 3, rich in depth, connection, and global resonance.

The morning began with Raul Aramayo’s moving keynote, The Miracle of WE, highlighting the power of facilitated dialogue in Latin America. Then came the Elevator Pitches of all Friday presenters, opening the door to another full day of workshops and exploration.

Next, Bence Gánti shared a powerful message with Radical Wholeness needs Radical Integral Work, grounding the community in the inner and outer demands of integral living. And Santiago Jiménez guided us through A Journey of Sound through the Stages, offering a sonic initiation through layers of consciousness.

In the evening, we entered a deeply co-created space:
The International Constellation Process, held by Bence Gánti, Anne-Marie Voorhoeve and the constellation team, brought the whole IEC field into a shared, embodied experience of the global community. A sacred, collective ritual that touched many hearts and awakened something greater than ourselves.

EC 2025 – DAY 4: Wholeness, Fire, and Collective Awakening
May 31, Saturday

📸 This is the second chapter in our “backwards in time” photo series from IEC 2025. Relive the vibrant energy of Day 4!

The day opened with Karen O’Brien’s visionary keynote Fractals of Change, reminding us how small shifts can ripple into systemic transformation. We then met all Saturday presenters through rapid-fire Elevator Pitches, igniting curiosity for a day full of rich workshops.

Elke Fein invited us to surf the polarities of modern politics with wholeness and nuance, while Craig Hamilton guided us into Collective Awakening as a pathway to invoking a deeper wholeness within and among us.

And then came the night.
The Outdoor Tribal Community Event was a soul-stirring celebration under the open sky: fire, drumming, dancing, and music with Gábor Ölvedi, Bence Gánti, Fatu Gozlan, and their musician friends. A wild, alive and heart-opening gathering that embodied the integral spirit in rhythm and joy.

IEC 2025 – DAY 5: The Closing Chapter
June 1, Sunday

📸 This is the first in a series of daily photo albums, as we now journey backwards in time through the magic and memories of the Integral European Conference 2025.

Our final day opened with an inspiring dive into Wyrd Technologies by Peter Merry and Michael Oswald, followed by a powerful keynote from Said Dawlabani on Spiral Dynamics in War, Politics, and Ecology.

Later, Jamila Tressel envisioned new paradigms for Changing Education, and Nóra Pecsénka guided us home to our bodies with BODYWAY – The Gateway Home.

And then came the Closing Ceremony – a tender and moving farewell, led by Bence Gánti, Hanna Hündorf, and Christiane Seuhs-Schoeller. We celebrated the team, the community, and the beauty of what we had created together. There were tears, laughter, hugs, and heartfelt words from both old friends and new companions on the path.

The Fire Ceremony at IEC – A Night of Sacred Connection

One of the most beloved traditions of the Integral European Conference is the Fire Ceremony, and this year, it was truly unforgettable.

We gathered at the edge of Lake Balaton, under the night sky, with the moon above us, the fire before us, and the four elements—earth, water, fire, and air—present in full aliveness.

The rhythm of shamanic drums, the haunting sounds of the ney flute, the primal pulse of the doromb—played live by Ölvedi Gábor, Gánti Bence, Gozlan Fatime, and Vértes Zsolt—wove us into a timeless ritual.

We danced, we sang, we moved in circles, calling in the ancient tradition of fire gatherings, something deeply human, deeply sacred. The fire brought us back to ourselves, to the earth, and to each other.

These are the moments that root the conference not just in theory, but in embodiment, spirit, and shared presence.

Thank you to everyone who brought their voice, body, heart, and soul to the circle.
This is IEC. This is community. This is Integral in action.

Craig Hamilton
Invoking Wholeness Through Collective Awakening

Closing the keynote series, Craig Hamilton spoke to the power of awakening together. Inviting us beyond solo spiritual practice, he explored the generative field that emerges when consciousness becomes a shared act—a collective unfolding. He pointed to wholeness not only as an inner experience but as a mutual resonance we co-create. With his elegant clarity and decades of teaching, Craig reminded us: our awakening is incomplete without each other. It was a resonant close to a morning of luminous insights.

Wholeness in Politics – Surfing the Polarities

In a world increasingly shaped by fragmentation and polarization, Elke Fein brought refreshing clarity and nuance. With her background in political sociology and integral research, she showed how the dance of opposites—left and right, tradition and progress, hierarchy and equality—can be engaged consciously, not just endured. She offered a grounded framework for “surfing the polarities” in political discourse and action, not by collapsing into one side or the other, but by holding the whole. Her talk was both visionary and deeply practical—a guide for integral leadership in turbulent times.

"You matter more than you think."
This was the core message from Karen O’Brien’s powerful keynote at IEC 2025: Fractals of Change.

Speaking to a full house on Saturday morning, Karen invited us to rethink change—not as something linear or top-down, but as something quantum, relational, and deeply personal. Drawing on climate science, social theory, and quantum physics, she reminded us that transformation happens through each of us, and spreads like fractals: repeating patterns that ripple through the whole.

Change isn’t just about systems.
It’s about consciousness. It’s about relationships.
It’s about vibration, resonance, and participation.

In a world facing complex, compounding crises, Karen offered a perspective that is at once scientifically grounded and profoundly hopeful:

🌱 “Every initiative, every activity is a space for transforming the whole.”

She called on us to act from universal values—equity, dignity, integrity, compassion, oneness—and to step into our role as agents of quantum social change.

It was a keynote that didn’t just inform—it shifted something.

From our earliest expressions of consciousness to the vast space of universal oneness, Santiago led us in a deeply embodied, soul-stirring experience.

The first version of this powerful journey happened during an online edition of IEC, and now, in person, it was even more impactful.
