Healing Online and Offline Art Events Bennem a Művész - drawing circles and lessons for joy and healing
https://linktr.ee/szilvia_sztankovits I have been studying and practicing art for 20 years.

My name is Szilvia Sztankovits - I am an artist, healer and truth seeker. I was raised in Hungary, and during my experiences traveling the world and living and studying in 7+ countries in the East and the West, while developing my art, I tapped into my path through various healing practices as well. First in energy healing, meditation, breathwork, homeopathy, cold therapy, tapping, psychoteraphy, yoga and lately in ayurveda. After trying out these practices, I strongly believe in the importance of groundedness while diving into any spiritual or healing methods. Visual art brings both of these aspects: It grounds us while connects us with our divine self. The experience of creating in a group environment can elevate this further. I studied at the Art Students League in New York, at the UDK in Berlin, photography at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, finished my BA in fine art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, and participated in a series of group and private lessons in Budapest as well. To purchase my works, please send enquiry in private message. Currently I am based in Bali, Indonesia, and I giving art lessons online and offline, for learning, discovering, fun and healing - for children and adults, private or group sessions. Please send DM for further details or if you have interest buying my art! https://linktr.ee/szilvia_sztankovits

Crimson red has a long and complex history in art, evolving from natural pigments like ochre and madder root to synthetic alternatives, and carrying rich symbolic meanings of power, passion, life, and sacrifice across cultures and time. It has been employed by ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Roman civilizations, used by Renaissance masters for its depth, and by modern artists like Matisse and Basquiat for its evocative emotional intensity.

What is your relation with red?

An earlier drawing, when I was experimenting with my skills from figure drawing and implementing 3 dimensional spaces. It feels a bit dreamy, and structured the same time - don't you think?
What are your inspiration when you create?
Have you ever created anything from your dreams? Real ones of just daydreaming?

Soon I am planning to organise drawing circles based on dreams. Stay tuned! ☝️🗣😴

🖼 One of my favourite art movements:
Impressionism, a revolutionary art movement that emerged in the late 19th century, continues to inspire artists today. It emphasizes capturing the fleeting effects of light and color, often through visible brushstrokes and depictions of everyday life. Impressionist artists like Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Edgar Degas sought to capture the essence of a moment rather than a precise representation, focusing on the subjective experience of the viewer.
Impressionists shifted away from traditional subjects like historical or mythological scenes, choosing instead to depict scenes of modern life, landscapes, and portraits of ordinary people.
They aimed to capture a fleeting moment, an "impression" of a scene, rather than a detailed, photographic representation.

What is your main motivation when creating something?

Let's look at some of the colors, shall we? Who doesn't love blue? 🤩
Ultramarine Blue: Since ancient times, ultramarine blue has been more than just a color. It has symbolized the unreachable, the depth of the ocean, and the vastness of the sky.
Ultramarine blue was born from a precious stone: lapis lazuli. The main deposits of lapis lazuli are found in Afghanistan. This stone was brought to Europe from beyond the sea — hence the name Ultramarine Blue.
During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it was reserved for the most sacred artworks and prestigious commissions. It was the color of the Virgin Mary in religious painting — a luxury only the most fortunate artists could afford.
For centuries, ultramarine blue was more expensive than gold until, in the 19th century, science found an alternative: synthetic ultramarine blue.
This breakthrough expanded its use, freeing artists from economic limitations and turning this once-exclusive pigment into a universal expression.

What has been your fairytale? 🌿My latest work investigates the mystical and the magical in nature around us, and our connection with it.
Have you ever seen a fairy in a dream? Or in a movie?

While seeking wisdom in India and Bali, I came across Goddess Saraswati, who is revered in Hindu mythology as the Devi, or goddess of knowledge, intellect, arts, creativity and skills. She is believed to be the giver of self-knowledge. Sara means the essence of all knowledge and Swa means the highest self.
A drawing/study I made of her while trying to connect with creative energies in Asia...

Have you heard of Saraswati before, or are you familiar with any other Gods connected to the arts?

Imagined scene, early work💥

The interest of constructive forms and architecture came to me by pure coincidence, or at least in a way I could not explain. This magnetism was following me through drawing, painting and photography as well during the years. The mixture of organic and geometric shapes and figures creates an interesting atmosphere I always found fascinating and what invites the viewer to think behind the scenes, into an imaginary world....
