Knowing your blood type is important, but knowing your Rhesus factor can be life-saving. ❤️

BIMC Hospital Kuta, in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross Bali, held a Health Talk titled “Save Lives. Starting with Yours.” to raise awareness about the challenges of accessing Rhesus-negative blood in Bali.

During the event, guests had the opportunity to check their blood type and Rhesus factor on-site while learning about donor eligibility and the current blood donor profile in Bali.

The event also brought together consulates in Bali, Ngurah Rai Immigration, expat communities, and international schools to strengthen collaboration and increase awareness about the importance of blood availability in emergency situations.

By encouraging more people to know their blood type and join the Rhesus-negative contact list, this initiative aims to help ensure that life-saving blood is available when every second matters.
