Meet our Japanese Advisor at BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua, Sachie Nishiwaki.
Sachie arrived in Bali in 2010 and immediately she fell in love with the island’s kind people, amazing culture and the tropical weather.
In 2012, Sachie joined BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua as a Japanese Advisor. Back in Japan, Sachie was a nurse in Hidaka Hospital and Showa Hospital for 9 years.
Although her role in BIMC Hospital is not a nurse but an advisor for Japanese patients (both expatriates and tourists), Sachie is always trying her best to assist patients with better communication between the patient and the doctor, so that they can be treated correctly and feel better soon.
“I love to help people. Becoming ill or having an emergency in foreign country can be devastating and frustrating. I am here to assist Japanese nationals so that they can feel more comfortable and can communicate freely in their native language“ she said.
