Flex Friday! This week we would love to focus and flex not only our physical body but also our mindset through the practice of Ahimsa (non-violence). Ahimsa encourages kindness towards the self and all beings. It is attitude of universal compassion. SUP yoga teachers are ambassadors of the oceanic environment, practicing non-violence to all living creatures and passing this message on to those who practice SUP yoga.
A greater appreciation and gratitude for our mother earth and the ocean is a natural consequence of connecting deeply to the environment around you on the board. What does Ahimsa mean to you and how do you integrate Ahimsa in your daily life? We would love to read your comments below!
