"TSI + EN" Certifications Achieved! Ansteel Rail Expands Global Reach
Coinciding with the official launch of the ANrail brand under Ansteel Group, Ansteel Corporation has reported a string of successes in its international rail expansion efforts. Its European-standard (EN) rail products have successfully passed the EN Conformity Assessment Certification, while SAR51 rails, built to African standards, have been mass-produced for the first time and delivered to overseas customers. These achievements further strengthen the ANrail brand, broaden Ansteel’s international market presence, and lay a solid foundation for supporting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Proactively Expanding Export Markets
In response to the decline in domestic rail demand, Ansteel Corporation is leveraging the growing influence of its ANrail brand and has actively shifted strategic focus toward exports as a key growth driver. Backed by its earlier TSI (Technical Specifications for Interoperability) certification from the European Union and supported by efficient port-adjacent logistics, Ansteel exported over 60,000 tons of EU-standard rails in the first half of this year alone.
With the successful completion of dual "TSI + EN" certifications, Ansteel’s European-standard rail products are now well-positioned to deepen integration into the global rail transportation system, supporting safe, efficient, and green railway operations worldwide.
Breakthrough in African Market: SAR51 Rail Delivered
Targeting Africa, a strategic hub of the Belt and Road Initiative, Ansteel Corporation has actively developed new client relationships. Through close collaboration between its Marketing Center and Large Steel Plant, the company secured an order for SAR51 rails, a product that meets African rail standards.
The SAR51 rail presents high requirements for dimensional precision and significant technical challenges in rolling. The Large Steel Plant, in coordination with Ansteel’s Technical Center, conducted a focused R&D campaign, particularly in the critical area of rail pass design. After multiple simulation iterations, a reliable production plan was finalized.
During the trial rolling stage, the technical team:
Repeatedly fine-tuned key equipment such as rolls, guides, and mills
Monitored the entire production process
Quickly identified and corrected dimensional deviation issues
Established internal quality standards exceeding industry norms
From raw material entry to final product delivery, every production step was seamlessly integrated, ensuring full-process quality control and that all products met or exceeded required specifications. This reflects not only Ansteel’s exceptional technical capabilities in rail manufacturing, but also the growing strength and global reputation of the ANrail brand.
