Family Photo in kimono set
Best idea ever!!1!!! Do you know that there is no twinning/ sarimbit-an in kimono for female and male. While in Indonesian culture (maybe other culture too), a couple sometimes thinks about getting a same outfits. It's cute and cringe, but why not, I do it to :p. For kimono, there is no sarimbitan (okay my Indonesian fellow). In case you want sarimbit kimono, you shall make it yourself or as agile as a hawk when the same color scheme or motifs of kimono is appeared in the market. If you say, "My friends can get these same kimono for female and male". I might assume it might be cosplay kimono or repurpose kimono (some mofuku maybe) because afaik there is no such thing as kimono sarimbit.
Anyway, this couple decided to have family photo with their little son. The most interesting about this photo session was the breastfeeding session. I just did kitsuke and the son were crying and hungry, so I needed to undress all. While I waited the mother to breastfeed her son, I dressed the father. And I was pondering until now, how do Japanese woman breastfeeds her son/ daughter when wearing kimono? Which part of kimono shall be loosen up to mitigate this activity hummmm.... I would like to know. Also...I think the mother breasfed again after I left the studio, because the kimono came loose here and there. It was okay tho, the result's pictures were fantastic!
Female kimono set was green komon (synthetic) with orange phoenix fukuro obi. Kimono was from ISOTK's (Indonesian Sisterhood of Traveling Kimono) round 3. Male kimono was montsuki set, the most formal kimono for male with five crest (kamon).
