Not for complexity, but for meaning.
A single material is never just one.
Geranium — rosy from Madagascar,
bright from Egypt,
or green in its absolute form.
Frankincense — fresh and citrusy Sacra,
carrying the light of Oman,
deeper and resinous Carterii,
warm like sun on Somali earth,
or softly fruity Serrata,
touched by the green stillness of India.
Moved by origin and distillation.
Each variation holds a different direction.
We choose not just the plant,
but its character.
Sometimes one is enough.
Sometimes several become one to create balance.
