Attuning to the Ancient Breath of the Earth

There are moments on the path when intensity moves through us —
emotion rising, energy shifting, everything feeling amplified.

When that happens, I often return to nature.
To trees. To stone. To what has learned how to hold time.

Trees teach us alignment — rooted in the Earth, reaching toward the stars.
But lately, I’ve felt deeply called to the consciousness of rock formations.

If you’ve ever sat in the presence of ancient stone, you know.
There is a slow, expansive pulse —
like the Earth breathing with the cosmos.

A long inhale.
A deep, patient exhale.

When we attune to this rhythm, our own system begins to soften and breathe in resonance. The intensity doesn’t need to be pushed away — it finds its place.

Shamanism isn’t only about the Earth beneath our feet.
It is about remembering our place within the entire cosmos —
Earth, stars, stone, breath, and spirit moving as one.

We’ve been taught that surrender means giving up.
The womb knows it means letting go of force.

Womb-based healing isn’t about fixing yourself.

Surrender in the womb looks like:

There is a space many of us find ourselves in right now —
between what has been, and what is becoming.

Not fully in the old world.
Not yet anchored in the new.

In shamanic language, this is often called the void — an interworld, a threshold space where the old rules no longer apply and the new ones haven’t formed yet. Everything can feel soft, unclear, even uncomfortable. Like life has gone quiet, squishy, less tangible.

This isn’t stagnation.
It’s a cocoon.

Just as the caterpillar dissolves before it becomes the butterfly, this in-between phase is part of a deeper death-rebirth process. A call to turn inward, to rest, to listen, to allow your energy to reorganize.
