Art is a place for children to express ideas and experiment in their own way. Children can learn a lot through art. When children draw, paint, and make collages, they are learning about their world (colors, shapes, and sizes of objects). When they use paints, brush, and pencil, children are planning, trying out new things, and solving problems. When children mix paint, they learn to understand one thing can make changes in another. In addition, painting can also help children communicate their emotions through the use of different colors without using words.
Last Saturday, we created a painting event to allow everyone to express their ideas and experiment with materials. Focus on helping people develop their creativity and enjoy the process of expressing thoughts and feelings through art. Guide, model, and show skills and techniques that can be used to create without teaching. We give time and places to be creative, explore, express themselves, and experiment.
Leah and Aysel are two cute girls who participated in our event, they are 3 years old. When the program began, they ran around happily picking up their painting tools. They are very good at using brushes, choosing the colors they like. They began to express their imagination into a piece of paper, their little hands trying to paint a color brush into his painting. They are very serious and enjoy it. During the final session, they presented their paintings. Leah drew a sun with a large red flower and a few green grasses beneath it with the beauty of bright blue clouds. While Aysel painted colorful bangs like a rainbow inspired by the cartoon "My Little Pony”.
