What has balancing your emotions to do with achieving your destiny?

You might think that your emotions have nothing to do with achieving your goals but actually just as thoughts, your emotions influence your destiny! 😎

Balancing your emotions is crucial to reach your destiny. You have to be able to minimize negativity in order to crank up the feelings that will most help you.

📍Our thoughts, feelings and behaviors all influence each other, but the strongest force is our emotions. It is important to work with our emotions, to acknowledge them, to learn to understand them. While we may act or think obsessively, we only do so when our behavior and thoughts are driven by strong emotions.

Many people don’t think much about their destiny, or are fearful about the term. You and me, we all have a destiny, and to discover what it is. We have to connect with what makes us feel the most vibrant and joyful.

Some experience utmost bliss working in his or her flower garden, bringing forth beauty and good spirit to all who witness it. Others can experience peace and fulfillment writing a juicy story or composing music. Or being a mom a caring neighbor.

🎈If you are not sure what your destiny is, ask yourself these questions:

✨ What makes me feel happy? The most excited, vibrant and alive?
Is there something in my life, that when I do it, I loose all sense of time?
✨ Is there a particular activity that puts me the most in touch with my inner silence, my spirit and myself?

💗 Keep in mind that your destiny doesn’t necessarily means your profession, although it may.
When you look at how you spend your time ask yourself: Does doing this help me achieve my destiny? Does it make me feel in touch with my passion, joy? Or does it take me away from them?

When you and I are following your destiny we feel bliss, and success in whatever we choose to do! 🦋

Comforting bowl of zoodles

On day one of the Raw Food Chef Training we teach how to make the raw version of Italian pasta. Pasta can be at times quite heavy and a more digestible lighter version is always fun to eat during summer time or while detoxing but still craving that comfort food.

Zucchini is a great substitute for the noodle, zoodle. That is best made just before serving using a mandolin or spiralizer. 2 medium zucchini will provide enough for 2 serves.

🥣 Marinara sauce (1-2 serves):

½ cup Fresh tomatoes, deseeded
½ cup sundried tomatoes
1 ½ tbsp. olive oil
½ clove of garlic
¼ red onion
Juice of half lemon
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp paprika powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp of fresh herbs

Process all shortly in a food processor adding the fresh herbs at the last moment.

🌰 Nutty Parmesan

½ cup macademia, or cashew or pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
½ tbsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp miso paste

Process all ingredients in a food processor till grainy texture

Top the Zoodles with the marinara sauce and the parmesan and enjoy!

All natural yummy coffee scrub 🦄

In yesterdays video I talked about what self-love beauty and health practice I implement every day to pamper myself, giving myself the feeling of a mini-spa. The tools that I use are easy portable while traveling, making you feel at all times luxurious and in your full radiance.

Many of you have DM us about the coffee scrub that can be used for body and face, and here it is:

🍬 4.5 oz. coffee beans, fine ground
🍬 2.25 oz. pink Himalayan salt, fine ground
🍬 2 oz. brown sugar
🍬 3 oz. sweet almond oil
🍬 2 ml vitamin E oil
🍬 20 drops steam distilled coffee oil or coffee absolute, optional
🍬 5 drops Lemongrass essential oil
🍬 5 drops Ginger essential oil

This scrub can also help to reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks in addition to facial puffiness! 🌼🌟

Food is energy that is nourishing and natural.

The five senses add to the vibrancy of food, which is an added source of energy.
The highest kind of energy comes from the joy of eating, which calls upon your mind and emotions.

Your body needs fuel, so the theme of energy begins with the digestion of your food. But this theme is about so much more. The food that you eat should add to the vibrancy, joy and excitement in your life. Bringing true fulfillment, far beyond blood sugar levels and vitamins.

📍To find true fulfillment in food, you should:

🧚‍♀️ Eat to feel energized. Eat less when you are inactive
☘️ Pick fresh ingredients
🤐 Stop eating when your are satisfied
🍐 Choose easily digestible foods, light foods
🥗 Avoid heavy processed foods, refined sugar and animal-based fats
🍭 Please your eye, play with colour, smell and textures
🧘‍♂️ Satisfy as many of the senses by including six tastes at every meal

📍 Avoid:

🌶 Eat until you are stuffed
🌶 Go for a auick-fix energy boost, as caffeine and sugar loaded foods.
🌶 Overusing of too much sugar, fat or alcohol, causing inflammation and brain fog
🌶 Rush eating, unconscious, without enjoying each bite
🌶 Eating the same foods each and single day, not eating the rainbow
🌶 Neglecting any excitement or pleasantness of an attractive plate

You can walk away from the table feeling joyful and buoyant, or with the same calorie intake, but feeling as if nothing has happened. The meal was just a mechanical routine, empty. Food shows how intimately connected the mind, body and emotions are, that all need to be addressed while cooking and eating to feel fulfilled and joyful.

Are you taking enough time out for yourself? Do you have a self-care or self-love practice?

In times of distress it is important to treat yourself with extra care and to create a safe space to come in touch with your own deepest self and your desires. Through the years my mom and me have both developed our own methods to stay connected to ourselves, to mother earth and to what we want to manifest in this lifetime.

My practices that I prioritize above anything else are:
• Meditation and prayer
• Voice activation
• Cleansing practices of body (fasting and energetically cleansing with the elements water, fire, air and earth) and of my surrounding (sage/Palo Santo and essential oils).
• Yoga
• Dancing: embodying of the feminine through Latin dances has changed my life
• High vibrational healing nutrition
• At least once a week spending time in nature
• Taking time out to do some self-love (having a massage, doing a home spa day, making my own essential oils roller blends, creams and beauty products, spoiling myself with a dress or mani-pedi)
• Starting my day off with affirmation and positive loving self talk (standing in the mirror, looking into my own eyes and saying in full confidence: “You are powerful”, You can accomplish everything you set your mind to”, “You are beautiful and your body is a miracle” I deserve only the best and I accept all the goodness that is coming my way”
• Getting in touch with and nurturing of my inner child, by playing frequently, not being all the time so damn serious, painting, journaling, dancing goofy in my bedroom, finding joy in smelling a flower or looking mesmerizing at the sunset, going to ecstatic dances and putting some glitter on.
• Using essential oils for beauty and aroma psychology (listening to what support/what oil I need while starting my day or stressful moment.

Magical cream to relieve muscle tension and clear karmic blockages ☘️

Usually used for physical pain, Deep blue also helps to navigate our resistance or avoidance to accept the emotions hidden behind our physical pain. Deep blue gives strength to unbind and open our emotional wounds so that they can heal and transform. With this mixture, you can learn, observe from a distance your painful experiences instead of over-identifying yourself with pain.

After all, when suffering severe emotional or physical pain, it is common for a us to act irrationally or completely lose our head.

Its deep scent helps the mind to remain independent, calm and collected, without succumbing to emotional panic and physical pain. Thus mastering the art of maintaining clarity of mind in the face of danger and pain.

At its core, deep blue teaches people to accept and endure their pain. This mixture opens up the possibility of realizing that the pain is not cruel or bad, but only a teacher. Instead of resisting pain, one can accept the lessons it has to teach. As the personality let go of resistance, the pain subsides, or even dissipates altogether.
Leading to an understanding of the very nature of pain, this aroma contributes to a better assimilation of all life experience as a whole.

📍COMPOSITION: wintergreen, camphor, peppermint, ylang-ylang, immortelle, blue tansy, blue chamomile, osmanthus

📍APPLICATION:
Aromatic: inhale directly from the bottle or spray into a diffuser.
Topical application: dilute 1-3 drops with carrier oil and massage where physical or emotional pain is felt.

My mom and me always get compliment on our skin and youthful look

It always becomes a funny moment when someone, just meeting us, asks if my mom is my sister. And surprising, and I will not lie a pleasant compliment when people mistaking me for a 27th years old, when I am reaching my 33th (this June).

There are no secrets to a youthfully looking skin, but a good skin care routine and healthy lifestyle starting as soon as possible, I started when I was 18 years old under the blissful influence of my mom. If you would be interested on our tips and tricks on more about skin care routine as massage, products,… and about our healthy lifestyle such as nutrition, with products not to use let us know in the comments.

Two items we for sure use that give us the needed hydration and anti-aging formula are our homemade natural face cream and facial toner (also the items my mom used during the stories on keeping your skin healthy while traveling).
I can already tell you one of our must do’s, we both religiously sick to: We don’t use any products on our skin full of chemicals and toxins like regular make up and beauty products.

A lot of you have been commenting and DM about the recipes for the sanitizer, aura cleanser and the anti-jetlag roller.

Our biggest mission here is to serve you, provide you with the information that is most needed!

📍So with no longer ado here are the recipes.

🌸 Chemical free Sanitizer (non-sticky and nice moisturizing of the hands) for a 100 ml spray bottle:

5 drops Lemon eo (essential oil)
5 drops Tea tree eo
2 drops Oregano eo
3 drops Rosemary eo
3 drops Thyme eo
2 drops On guard Doterra blend
3 ml Colloidal Silver
10 ml Alcohol
3 ml White Hazel
80 ml Distilled water

🌸 Aura cleansing spray, for 100 ml spray bottle:

2 drop Clary sage
2 drop Frankincense
1 drop Sandalwood (or 2 drops Cedarwood)
3 drops Rosemary
2 drops Fennel
3 drops Geranium
2 drops Clove
(if you would have white angelica or Motherwort a few drops)
3 ml colloidal silver
90 ml distilled water

🌸 Anti-jetlag roller blend 10 ml:

5 drops Rosemary
5 drops Peppermint
5 drops Eucalyptus
5 drops Frankincense
5 drops wild orange
5 drops cardamom
2 drops basil

Roll on the lower back (kidneys), feet, inner arm crease or hand palm to inhale.

Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness.

I just arrived in Mexico after 60 hours of traveling from Bali. Before I left I prepared my traveling kit extra diligent, taking into account the situation that we are in right now.

I love traveling, it gives me a sense of freedom. And nothing makes me more happy than sharing my key essentials that are a must have during traveling, with you all. I take the following items always with me:

1. Baking soda and citric acid (perfect for bloating, headache and making your body more alkaline)

2. Activated charcoal

3. Yoga mat and wooden balls, Sitting for extended periods of time in cramped airplane seats may slow blood circulation.

4. Mini diffuser

5. Essential Oils: Lavender, Tea Tree, Balance Doterra blend, Zen Digest Doterra blend, On Guard (oil, capsules and toothpaste Doterra), Siberian Fir Oil, Breathe Doterra blend, my own headache ease roller blend

6. Aura cleansing spray (own recipe)

7. Antiseptic spray for hands and masker (sharing the recipe in next post)

8. Blend of nose drops, the air in the plane tends to dry out the masal mucosa (will share this one also in the next post)

9. Because the skin tends to dry out due to the plane air, I make my own super hydrating face cream out of cocoa butter, avocado oil and essential oils (leave in the comment if you are interested in me sharing this recipe?)

We cannot deny it, most of us have been experiencing a high level of stress during the past months.

Stress of being locked up, stress of being disempowered, stress of the unknown, stress of financial insecurity, stress due to the current situation. Adding up to the regular stress we experience on a daily basis because of work, family and life in general. As it turns out stress is almost impossible to avoid. So what to do? 🤷‍♀️

During times of stress we need to level up our stress management skills, teach yourself how to stay grounded and calm, regardless of what’s going on around you. Stress management is important for your physical and emotional health. Because when you feel stressed, the level of cortisol in your blood rises, what over time can result in deterioration of your metabolism, increase in weight, and inflammation.

📍Ask yourself the following questions:

☘️ Do you wake up in the morning, and the first thing you think about is where you need to be, who you need to be there for and how much time you have to make it all happen?

☘️ Do you find yourself saying ‘yes’ when really all you want to do is to say no?
☘️ Do you struggle to find things to be grateful for in life?

☘️ Do you find it hard to fall asleep at night (or stay asleep all night?)

☘️ Would the words ‘burn out’ describe how you feel right now?

📍Yes, yes and yes?

Then it is time for a change, to show yourself more self-care and self-love, to focus more on you! Remember you? The most important person in your life!

To get started, we need to calm our minds, our nervous system, and reconnect again with our breath and body.

🌸 Do this simple practice when you feel overwhelmed with stress.

✨ Find a quiet space, take your shoes off and lay down with both arms by your side.

✨ Take a deep breath in and raise your arms right over your head. Feel the air filling your lungs and your body creating more space by stretching.

✨ Slowly lower your arms back to where they were and slowly breathe out.

✨ Feel the stress releasing from your body with every exhale.

✨ Imagine you inhaling white light, calming waves. Imagine while exhaling, all of your worries and tension leaving your body.
