[ONLINE CAMPAIGN BRAVE: BRINGING RIGHTS AND VOICES FOR EVERY-CHILD]
More than 42 million people worldwide live with HIV, over 2 million of them are children, and nearly 13 million children have lost their parents due to AIDS-related illnesses.
Yet, stigma and discrimination continue to prevent people from seeking testing, treatment, and support.
Through this year’s World AIDS Day, we invite the public to understand the facts about HIV, break common misconceptions, and reflect on how stigma affects people living with HIV. HIV is not spread through daily contact, and with Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), people living with HIV can live healthy and meaningful lives.
This is a reminder that Zero Discrimination begins with knowledge, empathy, and respect. We may not change the past, but we can choose how we treat others today.
Let’s choose understanding over assumptions.
Let’s choose care over fear.
Let’s start Zero Discrimination with ourselves.
