Here is the All Blacks 2019 Rugby World Cup signed jersey which i was presented by 2 of the All Black rugby players in our squad.

It was an amazing moment- and only when I look back now do I appreciate the amazing opportunity I got to hone my craft in professional sport.

I saw some of the best players in the world doing what they did every day and saw the habits that made them the best!

They left no stone unturned. They would arrive early to training, world hard, reast well, eat well and the body looked after itself after that.

I took those learnings from training with the All Blacks physios and doctors and made a simple system that has allows myself and Owen to treat 1000's of every day people who have struggled with pain for years.

If you've had pain for a long time, don't give up. But remember if you're going to fix something like that then you need to really want it. Like the All Black players- you need to work hard at your exercises, sleep well and eat well as all these things matter.

🔥 Let’s clear up the confusion about Sciatica

“Sciatica” gets blamed for all kinds of back and leg pain — but here’s what it really is 👇

Sciatica means the sciatic nerve (which runs from your lower back down your leg) is being irritated or pinched.
You might feel:
⚡ Sharp pain down the leg
🔥 Tingling or numbness
💪 Weakness or heaviness in one leg

💡 Quick self-check at home:
Sit tall in a chair.
👉 If straightening one leg makes your back or leg pain shoot, pull, or tingle — your sciatic nerve could be involved.

But don’t worry — most sciatica can be fixed without surgery.

Disc problems- we see them every single day in the clinic. I would go as far as to say it is the most common problem we see.

Many people hear they have a “disc problem” after a scan and think it’s bad news. But here’s the truth 👇

Research shows that lots of people have disc changes — even big ones — and feel no pain at all.
It’s a normal part of getting older, like wrinkles or grey hair.

So if you’ve been told you have a “disc bulge” or “disc wear and tear,” don’t panic. It doesn’t always mean something is wrong.

However — if you do have real disc pain (for example, sharp back or leg pain that flares when you move or sit), it’s important to see a physiotherapist.

At Fitzgerald Physiotherapy Clinic we were trained by the All Blacks physios and Doctors.

I was lucky enough to have worked in New Zealand in rugby circles in 2019.

It was the rugby world cup year and our team had a few All Black rugby players.

So we got to spend a weekend training with the current All Blacks physios and Doctors.

As you can imagine it was an amaxing experience.

When I left New Zealand I wanted to provide the same expert level of care to the everyday person who walks in off the street.

That's why I set up Fitzgerald Physiotherapy Clinic. I have trained all my therapists vigorously on the same systems so you are in good hands.
