My passion for nature, my love of gardening and a desire to produce something that would enhance the overall wellbeing of the body and mind is what prompted me to start experimenting. I grow lavender, calendula, chamomile and lots of herbs in my own garden at The Wrens Nest and use these to make my own infused oils which I also use to make soaps and skincare products. I also use natural butters, like cocoa and shea, along with certain seed and vegetable oils and pure essential oils. I really believe in the power of scent and aromatherapy plays a huge part in what i do. Using my soaps and creams will give a lift to your day every time you use them. I use only natural ingredients and there are no chemical or artificial preservatives in my products. I truly hope you enjoy using them and they bring a smile to your day.

🩷I hand dye recycled silk ribbons with plants & seeds to tie up your gift. These silk ribbons are left over from the sari trade and support local womens co-operatives in India to earn their own money.

🧡Every gift will have a home grown, by me at The Wrens Nest, mini dried flower bouquet either inside or decorating the outside of your gift. I spend my year growing & collecting flowers for this very purpose.

💜All the gift sets on my website come with silk ribbons & dried flowers as standard but if you want to make up your own gift there are several gift wrap options including popping all your purchases into a gorgeous cotton tote.

There have been a lot of new followers to my page recently, so i thought I'd reintroduce myself.

🧡I'm Danielle, owner, creator and maker at Naturally at the Wrens Nest. It's my baby and I do it all - the dreaming, planning, buying, making, creating, marketing, social media, website - everything. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

💛I'm passionate about creating natural soap and skincare that draws from the power of the natural world, and that gives you a connection to that magnificent green energy when you use it.

🩵I create my products in my workshop, which sits beautifully in the back garden of my tiny cottage, The Wrens Nest, in the gorgeous Laois countryside.

💚I use plant based oils and butters, flowers and plants from my own garden, pure essential oils, and lots and lots of love and positive energy to create my products.

🩷I also host 1 to 1 soap making workshops in my workshop so you can create your very own unique soap for your family, and I run regular foraging/woodland walks in my local forest. A recent addition to what I do has been natural heritage walks with some of the local schools in the area and I'm loving sharing my passion for the natural world with the next generation.

❤️I love my daughter Ella, good coffee, loud rock music, home made cake, and occasional cold creamy pint of Guinness, long hours in the garden or sitting under trees in the woods, my very dear friends and my family.

💛As the festive season rapidly approaches, I want to ask you to think about shopping locally and supporting small Irish business this Christmas. I have heard of so many small, one person, businesses closing in recent months. One of the main reasons is because the costs of running a small business have risen so dramatically in the last couple of years, particularly for businesses, like mine, who have to buy in their raw materials. Its heart breaking to see people who have worked so hard to create their small businesses have to close their doors. There is no support from the government for these small operations. The powers that be are only interested in business that wants to expand & grow but a lot of us just want to support our families and bring a little light to the world with our creations.

💛So, my ask is that when you are shopping this festive season that maybe you take a look at your gift list and support at least one small Irish business. Instead of giving your hard earned money to big companies who, lets be honest, won’t have to close their doors if they have a one less sale, give your support to a person who will be truly thrilled to get your order and maybe will be able stay afloat a little longer thanks to your support.

💜I'm a soap maker. I make natural, plant based, aromatherapy soaps that are kind to nature and kind to your skin.

💜I choose to use oils and butters that are  gentle but moisturising on the skin. I don't use palm oil and my products are only tested on humans. I only use essential oils for scent as they come from mother nature and provide wonderful therapeutic benefits to my soaps, too.

💜I have spent years researching, learning, practising, and honing my skills as a soap maker, and I hope you see that when you purchase a bar of soap from me.
