Sharpe, Anne (Née Lydon) of Kennaughty Ardara, Co. Donegal and formerly of Loughconeera,
Kilkerrin, Connemara, Co. Galway.
Anne passed away peacefully after a long illness, borne with great dignity and courage, on 28th
January 2026 at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Mark and Abbey Lydon and her brother Tommy.
Anne will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Maurice, her sons Joseph and Dean,
daughter Diane, daughter in law Sheena and her grandsons Niall and Jonathan, by her brothers
Cőilín, Paddy and John and her sisters Julia, Maureen, Barbara and Maggie, brothers in law,
sisters in law, nieces nephews and wide circle of friends.

Anne will repose at McCabes Funeral Home, F94VCK1 Ardara, from 3 pm until 9 pm on Thursday 29th of
January. Removal from McCabes Funeral Home Friday 30th of January for funeral Mass at 1.30pm in the
Church of the Holy Family, Ardara. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.family flowers only please donations if desired to the friends of Letterkenny hospital care of any family member.

The sudden death has occured of Patrick (Paddy Phil) McNelis, Brackey, Ardara. Pre deceased by his parents Phil & Kate, sisters Mary Rose and baby Hannah. Sadly missed by his nieces Mary, Patrica, Kathleen, mairead and nephews Hugh, Gerry, Philip and John Damian. Reposing at McCabes funneral home Common Ardara F94VCK1 today Friday from 4pm to 9pm and tomorrow Saturday from 4 to 9pm funeral from there on Sunday morning going to the church of the Holy family Ardara for funeral mass at 11 am burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

The wife & family of the late Tom Diver, Drimaha, Ardara would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who expressed their sympathy to us on our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful for the many expressions of kindness, for the mass cards, letters, floral tributes and for those who attended the wake, funeral and burial. We extend special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon for Tom's beautiful funeral mass.
Our thanks also to Deirdre O'Malley for her beautiful music.
Grateful thanks to all the nurses who tended to Tom at home and also to the Doctors both at home and in Sligo and Letterkenny hospitals.
To all the people that brought food to the house and to the staff in the shop for all their work in the Parish Centre after the funeral mass, it was very much appreciated
Thanks also to the stewards and bus drivers and to everyone who helped in the house during the wake.
A special thanks to Raymond and Derek McCabe for the dignified manner in which they carried out their duties.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The family of the late James Gallagher wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who supported us during our recent bereavement and to those who visited James during his time in hospital.

We extend our special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon for celebrating such a beautiful and heartfelt Funeral Mass. Our thanks also to Cliona McDermott for the beautiful music, and to all who participated in the Funeral Mass through readings and prayers of the faithful.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards, and had Masses offered in James’ memory.

Our sincere thanks to all who sent flowers, and to the Parish Centre for the catering following the Funeral Mass.

A special word of thanks to McCabe’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, care, and the dignified manner in which all arrangements were carried out.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to the staff of Donegal Hospice for the compassion, care, and kindness shown to James and to our family during his final days. We will be forever grateful.

Agnes McGill Acknowledgement and Month's Mind

We, the family of the late Agnes McGill wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to all those who supported us during our recent sad loss.

We offer special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon for his guidance and compassion, a great support to us, especially in the hospice after Agnes' death. We thank you for a beautiful, heartfelt funeral Mass and we are also grateful to Fr. Gerard Cunningham for concelebrating the funeral Mass.

Thank you to Grainne, Catriona and Aidan for the beautiful music, to those who participated in the funeral Mass - readings, prayers of the faithful and carrying the gifts.

We wish to thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of condolence, Mass cards and Masses offered.

To our neighbours who showed great support and kindness, a special mention to Maire who supported Jimmy at home during the funeral Mass.

Thank you to Catherine and Teresa for the beautiful flowers, to Bernie for the food, and to the Parish Centre for catering after the funeral Mass.

A heartfelt thanks to McCabe's funeral directors for their professionalism and the dignified way in which they carried out all the arrangements, and to the gravediggers, we are very grateful to you all.

We would like to thank all those who cared for Agnes over the past few years - Ardara Medical Centre, the carers who helped her at home with kindness and support, and Letterkenny Hospital staff. Pre-deceased by parents Patrick and bridie, brothers Eugene,Paul,Charlie and Phil rip.

The peaceful death has occurred of Tom Diver, Drimaha, Ardara.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Mary B, his sons Damian and David; his daughters Maria and Grainne; his sisters Mary, Philomena, Greta and brothers in law Bartley, Charlie and Jonny D; his brother Columba and sister in law Margeret.
He will be sadly missed by his son and daughters in law, his six grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends in the beautiful community of Ardara.

- Wednesday 19th November from 6pm - 11pm
- Thursday 20th November from 11am – 10pm
A shuttle bus will be in operation from Church of the Holy Family carpark

The peaceful death has occurred of Agnes Mc Gill (nee Gallagher) Aighe Ardara at Donegal Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Jimmy, her sons Seamus and Hugh, her daughter-in-law Linda and her beloved grandchildren Joseph and James, her sisters Brid, Teresa and Philomena, her brother Hugh, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her son Joseph, her sisters Annie, Mary, Kathleen, Peggy, her brothers Paddy and Phiil.
