Agnes McGill Acknowledgement and Month's Mind
We, the family of the late Agnes McGill wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to all those who supported us during our recent sad loss.
We offer special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon for his guidance and compassion, a great support to us, especially in the hospice after Agnes' death. We thank you for a beautiful, heartfelt funeral Mass and we are also grateful to Fr. Gerard Cunningham for concelebrating the funeral Mass.
Thank you to Grainne, Catriona and Aidan for the beautiful music, to those who participated in the funeral Mass - readings, prayers of the faithful and carrying the gifts.
We wish to thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of condolence, Mass cards and Masses offered.
To our neighbours who showed great support and kindness, a special mention to Maire who supported Jimmy at home during the funeral Mass.
Thank you to Catherine and Teresa for the beautiful flowers, to Bernie for the food, and to the Parish Centre for catering after the funeral Mass.
A heartfelt thanks to McCabe's funeral directors for their professionalism and the dignified way in which they carried out all the arrangements, and to the gravediggers, we are very grateful to you all.
We would like to thank all those who cared for Agnes over the past few years - Ardara Medical Centre, the carers who helped her at home with kindness and support, and Letterkenny Hospital staff. We are deeply appreciative to the staff of Donegal Hospice for the kindness and compassion shown to Agnes and our family during Agnes' final days. We are forever grateful.
Please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our gratitude to all who supported us in any way.
Agnes' Month's Mind Mass is at 7.30pm at the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, this Saturday 13th of December.
