Are you an organised individual with a head for numbers and a heart for the community? We are looking for an Office and Account Administrator to join our team!

In this full-time role, you will be central to the daily running of the centre, managing everything from our financial systems (Xero) and payroll to social media and general office administration.

📝 Role Details:

Position: Office and Account Administrator

Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week), Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Ardfert Community Centre, Co. Kerry

✅ What we are looking for:

Minimum 2 years of experience in administration and accounts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (experience with Xero is a plus!).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

A passion for community development.

📅 Closing Date: Friday, January 9th, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Lovely to see on the way in and out of the village

Ardfert Potato Farm

Thanks to for a wonderful job on our new shed signage which has just been put in place this morning . There was a lot of time and effort put in by everyone to get the design just right and the end result really does speak for itself. Just in time for the Christmas rush too .

Good news for the parish

Some good news on Ardfert Post Office. The current Postmistress has agreed to remain on for a few weeks. Thanks to her. An Post are still attempting to obtain someone and a larger grant has been allocated for someone to take it over.

We will continue to keep up the pressure until a more permanent resolution is found.
