Arklow Cancer Support Charity No 18977. Arklow Cancer Support provides a safe and confidential place for a person diagnosed with Cancer and their families, providing important information and new coping skills in a non-judgmental and caring environment. You will be welcomed with a listening ear where you can share your concerns around your cancer diagnosis. Our services include: Reflexology, Art, Knitting, Crafts, Sound Meditation, Women's Group, Men's Group, Drop in Friday, Bra & Prosthesis Fitting, Lymphoedema Support information and much more. ACS offer one to one counselling/Psychotherapy & Bereavement counselling by appointment and is provided by our qualified psychotherapists and professional counsellors. Our Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist specialises in play therapy on a one-to-one basis. Our Volunteer to drive programme is one of our largest service taking clients for their daily radiation therapy to the various Dublin Hospitals. Mary's Road, Arklow

Arklow Cancer Support are deeply saddened by the untimely and sudden passing of Bernie Fitzgerald this weekend.
Bernie was one of our beloved Art Tutor for over 12 years, sharing her incredible talent, creativity, and warmth with everyone she met. A truly colourful lady, Bernie’s passion for art shone through in every class and exhibition she guided us through.
She lived life to the fullest, always planning her next adventure and bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
Bernie, you will be deeply missed by all of us at Arklow Cancer Support. Your spirit, kindness, and love of art will forever remain in our hearts.
May you rest in peace.

Arklow Cancer Support is deeply grateful to Niamh Sweeney of John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors Arklow. Niamh is Hon. Treasure of the IAFC and they recently held a raffle in honour of her late Mum Frances Sweeney whom was a founder member of Arklow Cancer Support. Niamh dropped into our Centre this morning to present us with a cheque for €3,800.00. We are absolutely thrilled to receive such an amazing donation and we would like to thank everyone involved. This money will go towards the day to day running of our essential services to the local community.
