Yesterday, on a cold crisp January morning, six Servier women planted 100 native Irish trees on our site ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป. Of course, they were all planted perfectly, in record time and with zero drama ๐Ÿ˜‰.

๐ŸŽ“ College Awareness Week at Glenart College, Arklow

Being a student is not always easy and it can become particularly difficult when it comes to 5th & 6th Year; everyone seems to be asking 'What are you going to do when you leave school?'

National College Awareness Week took place in November and nine of our colleagues headed off to meet the 5th & 6th Years at Glenart College, Arklow. All our colleagues had different experiences to share. Some got what they wanted in their CAOs, some didn't. Some are still working in jobs related to their qualifications, some aren't. Some studied full time, some took the apprenticeship route.

Life is not a straight line but for students it can sometimes feel like it's supposed to be. We hope sharing our experiences helped to enforce that everyone's route is different.

And, even though it was College Awareness Week, there will be some who don't go to college - and that's ok too!

Weโ€™re very proud to share that Servier Ireland won both Business France V.I.E awards this year! ๐ŸŽ‰

Our V.I.E Communications Specialist, Mathilde Friedrich, received the Grand Prix V.I.E 2025, and Servier was also honoured with the V.I.E Excellence Award, accepted by our General Manager, Pascal Baraffe.

These awards highlight the incredible value of the V.I.E programme for our teams. With 12 V.I.Es on site, weโ€™re grateful for the energy, talent and fresh perspectives they bring every day.

A big thank you to the Embassy of France in Ireland and Business France Ireland for this wonderful evening and to all our V.I.Es for their fantastic work!

The week before last we had the pleasure of heading to Glenart College, Arklow for Think Languages Week.

A group of our French & Polish colleagues led interactive sessions with 5th & 6th Year students. And itโ€™s not easy engaging teenagers, but we did it!

Thanks to Jade, Baptiste, Cheick, & Mathilde who shared their experiences of living and working in France, Ireland and other countries and how being bilingual/multilingual allowed that to happen. And to Monika for inspiring the students with her story of how she came to speak English and how it has supported her studies and her career.

๐Ÿ“ฃ This week we celebrated the End of our Financial Year at Servier Arklow, a great day to look back on our achievements and enjoy time together as a team!

To make the day special, we hosted six interactive sessions in our on-site restaurant, An Bhialann, filled with conversations, highlights from the year, and a fun True or False quiz.
We also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast & lunch, shared together in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

๐Ÿ’™Thank you to everyone who joined in and to our amazing Communication Committee (AKA The CommComm!) for organising such a positive, engaging day! Here's to FY2025/2026!!

Recently we attended a great evening at BrookLodge for the Pureproject Pure Miles Awards Night. On the night, we were chuffed to receive a certificate of recognition for our Pure Mile which runs from the Knockmore Roundabout to Kish Roundabout in Arklow. Well done to all those who take part through local groups and businesses. Together we can and do make a difference.

๐Ÿฉธ This November, weโ€™re supporting .

Gastric cancer is linked to a number of environmental and behavioral risk factors. Due to its general, nonspecific symptoms, diagnosis of this type of cancer often occurs too late, compromising the prognosis.

๐Ÿ”Ž A recent study uncovers that approximately 570 individuals in Ireland are diagnosed with stomach cancer annually. A number that reminds us of the urgency to act: when it comes to gastric cancer, itโ€™s not enough to treat, we must anticipate.

Join us this November to raise awareness about the disease and highlight the crucial role of early detection in improving outcomes ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€Wishing you all a spook-tacular Halloween ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€

Our restaurant is serving Bat Blood Soup ๐Ÿฆ‡๐Ÿฆ‡(for clarity โ€” no bats were harmed, just a few olโ€™ tomatoes) ๐Ÿ‘ป

Weโ€™ve also got liver, fava beans and a nice Chianti ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ iykyk!

Letโ€™s hope the rain stops and trick-or-treating can go ahead. But whatever happens, keep you, your family and your pets SAFE this Halloween.

Weโ€™d love to see your costume pics in the comments ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ‘ป๐ŸŽƒ
