What is Pelvic Floor Acupuncture
Acupuncture for pelvic floor dysfunction
Pelvic Floor Acupuncture aims to restore pelvic health by releasing muscle tension within the pelvic floor and abdomen which helps address pain symptoms, stimulates blood flow and supports a return to normal muscle function and a possible resolution of symptoms.
Pelvic floor dysfunction is a structural, muscular and connective tissue disorder which can cause hypo-tonic (weak or too loose) or hyper-tonic (tension) in the muscles in the pelvis.
