Hi all, for the month of February I'm reducing the drop in rate from €18 to €12. This offer is just for my Yin Yoga class on Wednesday evenings, we start sharp at 6.15pm and finish at 7.30pm.

Class starts back this Wednesday, the 2nd January at 6.15pm. For those who are new to yoga, come along and give it a go. Yin is a slow paced style of yoga with postures held from 2 - 8 minutes. It's suitable for all ages and all levels of energy and flexibility as each participant stretches within their own capability. Yin is hard work, relaxing and rewarding.

Some of the benefits of Yin yoga:

* Increases mobility and flexibility in the body, especially the joints and
hips
* Better lubrication and protection of joints
* Regulates energy in the body
* Lowers stress levels
* Greater stamina
* Calms and balances body and mind
* Improves Yang practice

No Yin Yoga Wednesday 13 and 20 June as I'm on annual leave. Classes will resume on Wednesday the 27tb June at 6.15pm.

Our Story

What is Yin Yoga? Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time, usually two to eight minutes. The poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body — the tendons, fascia, and ligaments — with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to all dynamic sport including muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Sport, Injury and age can decrease flexibility in the joints, Yin yoga is a wonderful way to maintain that flexibility.
