We regret to inform you of the death of Paddy Halligan, :"Ava Maria", Drum, Athlone, and formally of Collogorriff, Athlone.
Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of Sonas Nursing Home Athlone, on the 7th March 2026. Predeceased by his parents John and Bridie. Paddy will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Kitty, daughters Irene and Colette, son Sean, son in law Rob, Sean’s partner Peter, grandchildren Katie, Caoimhe, Juliet and Eve, his sister May, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many good friends.

Reposing at Drum Parish Hall (N37 A7Y8) on Monday from 5pm to 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday in St Brigid’s Church, Drum at 12 noon, followed by burial in Drum Cemetery.

We regret to inform you of the death of Victoria (Vicky) Pettit, 11 St. Coman’s Park, Athlone.
Unexpectedly. Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents David and Maria, her beloved daughter Charleigh, sisters Kim and Jessica, brother David, grandparents, Padraig and Rose, aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, also by Charleigh’s Dad Graham and her grandparents Sean and Pauline, neighbours and friends.
May Vicky Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her residence on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to in St Brigid’s Church, Drum for mass of the resurrection at 11am, followed by burial in Drum Cemetery.

Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of St. Brendan Nursing Home, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Delia, and brothers, Michael, Tommy and Willie. Deeply regretted by his cousin Adrian Ward, and his wife Siobhan and their family David, Leanne and Amy, relatives, neighbours and his many close friends, whose friendship meant so much to him over the years.

Peacefully at The Orchard Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Predeceased by her parents Kieran and Rose (Nee Kenny), infant daughter Rose Mary, brothers Kieran, Joe, Patrick, Michael, and Willie, sisters Mary (Ciss) and Nell. Sadly missed by her loving son Sean, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at The Strand Funeral Home (N37 WY17) on Friday evening from 6pm with removal to Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church at 7.45pm, arriving at 8pm. Mass of the resurrection on Saturday at 11am, followed by burial in Drum cemetery.

Sadly missed by loving wife Angela, daughters Josephine and Angela, son Padraic, sons in law Des, José and Pat, grandchildren Rachel, Michael, Luke and Rhys, brothers John, Manus, Michael, Dominic, and Tommy, sisters Marie, Frances, Teresa and Joan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
