There is such beauty in this photo...but let's imagine the little girl starts to feel embarrassed that she has a camel for a pet instead of a dog like everyone else, or that she's a little too chubby, or that her headscarf is uncool, and she starts feeling embarrassed and shamed about herself. Her whole world changes in that moment...she's now saturated with feelings of inadequacy. STOP HIJACKING YOURSELF. Drop the hostile voice and stop comparing yourself to other people. Be your own best friend, your biggest support. You're absolutely fine the way you are. Make some beautiful memories...create joy. Simples!

Covid has profoundly affected how we all grieve for people we have loved and lost. Rituals - normally our way of working through the grief - are no longer available to us. For children experiencing bereavement, this is just as important a part of the grief process.
It is essential to ensure children do not get overlooked in the grieving process.
Talking to children in an age appropriate way about death enables them to understand and process this properly.
Dramatherapist, Anna Shinnors, and her colleague, Art Therapist, Joanne O'Dwyer, Art Therapy with Joanne will be running a number of programmes for children of various ages, focused on the area of bereavement. Each programme will last 8 weeks.
Good Morning folks, we have a fantastic talk on next tuesday the 8th of December on ZOOM with Bronagh Starrs Psychotherapist on all things Christmas, Covid & Parenting.👨👩👧👦
Please share this around and get the word out 😄
The link for the webinar is in the poster 😀

NEW ONLINE HYPNOBIRTHING COURSE STARTING SOON!
Hi everyone! I am now offering an online KGH approved Hypnobirthing course starting on Monday the 30th of November and running until the 21st of December, from 6 to 8h30 pm.
Hypnobirthing is a complete antenatal program that relies on the powerful combination of medical knowledge, logic and visualisation techniques. It helps mothers (and their partners) to let go of any fears or negative thoughts they may have around birth so that, when the time comes, their mind and body naturally work together in the most efficient way.
Looking forward to helping you achieve the best birth experience possible!

Burnout. We’re all there. It’s exhausting. The good news? There’s a path through it.
In this episode of I talk to Drs. Emily and Amelia Nagoski about their book, Burnout.
I’ve been practicing their 7 “complete the stress cycle strategies” since we recorded the podcast and I must say: Total game changer!
HUGE learning for me: Dealing with the STRESSOR is just one part of dealing with burnout. The other part is dealing with the STRESS by completing the stress cycle and getting through that emotions tunnel.
