Kildare and formerly Dublin, Kill, Brownstown and Drogheda passed away peacefully on 13th April 2026 in the care of the staff of St. Anne’s Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Christopher, son David and brother Paddy. Frances will be sadly missed by her son and daughters, Bill, Geraldine and Colette, grandchildren, Anthony, Dean (RIP), Andrew, Michelle, Tahlia, Clarke, Ryan, Andrew, Lucy, Gary (Hannah) and Kate (James) great grandchildren Kaiden and Grace and all her great grandchildren, son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Anthony, sisters Emy, Maura, Betty and Helen, brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (RIP), Noel (RIP) and Séan, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.



Frances will repose at Thompson Funeral Home, Athy (R14 NX80) on Thursday 16th April from 5pm to conclusion of the prayers at 7pm. Removal from Thompson’s Funeral Home Friday 17th April to St. Bridget’s Church, Kildare Town for Funeral Mass at 11am. Followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.

Pat Webster, Clonmullion, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away on Thursday 9th April at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Mick and his sisters Ann and Mary. Sadly, missed by his loving wife Angela, daughters Karen and Kim, son Ian, grandchildren Abi, Ella, Katie, Jack, Priya and Robert, sons-in-law Garry and John, daughter-in-law Sarah, sister Lily, brothers John and Robert, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, extended family and friends.



Pat will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy, (R14 NX80) on Friday 10th April, 2026 from 5.00pm until conclusion of the Rosary at 7pm.



Removal from his home at 1.45pm on Saturday 11th April, 2026 to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy.

Stephanie Murphy, 33 Kingsgrove, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Naas General Hospital on 1st April 2026. Predeceased by her parents Marie and Paddy. She will be sadly missed by her brothers John, Martin and Patrick, sisters-in-law Fiona, Rhona and Ann, nephews Dean, Aaron, Hayden, Ethan, Killian, Gary and Noah, all her friends, colleagues and staff past and present at KARE, neighbours, relatives and friends.



Stephanie will repose at her home 33 Kingsgrove, Athy on Friday from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 9.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for 10am Funeral Liturgy, followed by burial in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy.

Predeceased by his mother and father Jane and Patrick (Cuddy) Chanders and his brothers Denis and Shay, sister-in-law Sheila. Martin will be sadly missed by his brothers Dom, Cha, Robert and his sister Esther, brother-in-law Ger, sisters-in-law Maureen and Patricia, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Kildare passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Naas General Hospital on Monday 9th March, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Patricia and John Donovan, son-in-law Derek, sister Lil, brother Tommy and also Mary Donovan. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Joe, sons and daughter, Martin, Elaine and Joseph, grandchildren James, Craig, Clodagh, Kayla, Darragh, Conor, Joseph and Maddison, nieces Geraldine and Tricia McEntee, daughters-in-law Vanessa and Denise, brothers and sisters Johnny, Narra, David, Mary and Junie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
