Hip Mobility.
Hip mobility is essential for a healthy back and for reducing tension in joints, ligaments, and muscles. The hips connect the upper and lower body and are designed to handle large amounts of movement and load.
When hip mobility is limited, the lower back often compensates, leading to increased strain, stiffness, and pain. Tight hip flexors, glutes, or rotators can alter pelvic alignment, placing extra stress on the lumbar spine. Poor hip movement also creates muscle imbalances, where some muscles overwork while others weaken, increasing tension in surrounding tissues.
Improving hip mobility helps restore proper movement patterns, supports better posture, reduces unnecessary joint stress, and allows muscles and connective tissues to relax, promoting overall comfort and long-term joint health.
Your hip mobility should be worked on 👍
