The death has occurred of Anna Mary Smith, Lisnalee, Bailieborough.

Anna Mary Smith of Lisnalea, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan (formerly of Corodoagh for 8 decades) died peacefully in her home on the 6th March 2026, wonderfully attended to by caregivers, Maria Fe Durian, the Cavan-Monaghan care givers & palliative team, Dr. Forbes & previously, Dr. Cronin, cousins- Paul Brennan and Anna Reilly & many kind friends and neighbours.


She is the cherished sister of brothers- Paddy (Eileen), Jemmy, Benny (Una), sisters- Katie, Rose and Maggie Smith and beloved daughter of Annie (nee Clarke) & Phil Smith, all of whom have preceded her in death. She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Sunday 8th March from 6pm - 8pm and also on Monday 9th March from 3:30pm - 5:30pm. Removal at 5:45pm to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery Knockbride West (Tunnyduff). The death has occurred of Kitty Rogers, Corravilla, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan, Tuesday 3rd March 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Owen and Katie Clarke, brothers Owen, John, and sister Brigid.


Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by her heartbroken husband Pat, her devoted children Enda (Lisa), Kieran (Nuala), Anne (Peter), Carmel (John), Noel (Una), Raphael (Faye) and Adrian (Sarah), her 21 treasured grandchildren Katie, Nicola, Patrick, Nathan, Jordan, David, Philip, Alannah, Tara, Dylan, Janelle, Jake, Zarah, Sean, Kyle, Kenzie, Kevin, Gia, Aoife, Ronan and Isla Rose, brother Phil, sisters Mary and Bernadette, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough, on Wednesday evening, 4th March, from 5pm to 8pm. Reposing at the residence of her son Noel and Una Rogers, Corravilla, Bailieborough, on Thursday, 5th March, from 4pm to 9pm. Shuttle bus operating from East Knockbride Church Car Park (A82 H982) to the residence and back.

House private on Friday morning please.

Removal from her residence on Friday 6th March to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, East Knockbride (A82 H982), for 12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of David Kellett, Corrocloughan, Virginia, Co. Cavan (Eircode A82 W657), who passed away peacefully at his home on 17th December 2025, in the loving care of his family, aged 86 years.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen, his sister Moira and his brother Patrick.

David was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his heartbroken son David, daughter Margo, daughter-in-law Lisa, son-in-law John, and his adored granddaughters Joan, Caoimhe, Heather and Niamh.
