Strong women supporting strong women.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrated the power, resilience and wisdom of all women. In our yoga class this morning it was more than movement; it’s was a space where women could uplift, encourage, and support each other. Thanks for inviting me.

Softly unfolding.
Rising anyway.

These first crocuses and daffodils remind us that growth doesn’t need everything to be aligned. It just needs a willingness to emerge, slowly, gently, bravely.

If you’ve been waiting for the “right time" this is your nudge.

As the new year begins, this is an invitation to drop expectations and simply arrive on the mat.
No pressure. No resolutions. Just time for you.

This term is about experiencing something new:
✨ moving with awareness
✨ breathing with intention
✨ finding stillness through meditation
✨ reconnecting with your body

Whether you’re flowing, resting, or building strength, each class offers space to tune in and meet yourself where you are 🧘‍♀️

Why do I practice yoga?

People always ask me why I practice yoga and my answer has changed over the years. At 45, a wife ,a mother of 3 children, a primary school teacher, a yoga teacher life is busy so my answer today is completely different then it was 20 years ago.

I practice yoga to to find grounding; keep calm in difficult situations; find space to breathe a full breath.
Yes I practice to stay strong and flexible but mostly to find the space and time that I need. Yoga gives me the space to connect with the 'me' beyond all the responsibilitys and to be content with who I am in the moment. It gives the space to become aware of my body, mind and breath and feel that interconnectedness with the world around me. Yoga is truly amazing.

Yes yoga is more than a physical practice, it may start with a stretch but it become a shift in mindset.

I'm delighted to welcome back experienced yoga teacher and trainer Noeleen Tyrrell to our little yoga room in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on Saturday 30th of September at 10am.
For the past 25 years Noeleen has been sharing the practice of yoga with others. Noeleen's approach to teaching is grounded in the Anusara™ tradition, which beautifully blends alignment principles with a heart-centred teachings. But more than any specific style, what she offers is the fruits of decades of practice, study, and real-life application of yoga's teachings.

Inspiration from India Yoga Workshop

I'm delighted to welcome my own yoga teacher Noeleen Tyrrell to our little yoga room in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon on Saturday 8th March at 10am.
For the past 25 years Noeleen has been sharing the practice of yoga with others. Noeleen's approach to teaching is grounded in the Anusara™ tradition, which beautifully blends precise biomechanical alignment principles with a heart-centred philosophy. But more than any specific style, what she offers is the fruits of decades of practice, study, and real-life application of yoga's teachings.
Noeleen is just back from a fantastic trip to India and this morning workshop is inspired from that very trip. The workshop will be influenced by Noeleen's insights and experiences and India's rich yogic traditions. I can't wait !
