Hopefully details are a little cearer on this poster! Starting next Thursday, 6th Feb, I will be teaching gentle yoga and meditation classes at Kilmovee Community Centre from 10am to 11am. Happy New Year, everyone! Would you like to gently wake-up your body and calm your mind this year? I'm starting a yoga class in the Thatch at Kilmovee Community Centre on Thursday 6th Feb. I'm offering an introductory price of €5 for that first class! Thereafter I will run classes on a month-by-month basis, depending on interest, with drop-ins priced at €10 (or you can buy 4 for €34). No payment needed in advance, although it's best to call in advance to book your slot as space is limited.

Hello Yogis! After a little break from teaching I'm thinking of running a course in the new year. This would be in the Thatch in Kilmovee. It's a lovely space than can be made nice and cosy with soft lighting and controllable temperature. Today's YouTube share is Lilly Sabri. I find her routines can be a little more challenging than Bailey Browns but, again, her back catalogue offers a huge variety of workout lengths and target muscle groups. Don't be intimidated by those abs of hers! Just follow along as best you can and adapt accordingly. You DO need to feel some discomfort to build fitness but you DON'T - and shouldn't - feel pain. If your lower back feels sore or any joints are hurtning always ease off or skip a move completely. Lilly Sabri

Here's a link to a YouTube pilates instructor I follow called Bailey Brown. She's very... American. But I like her variety of videos in terms of length and muscle group. I found them very effective during the pandemic when too much sitting caused my back to feel sore. I started with daily "5 minute glutes" and gradually built up to longer, whole body workouts.
