Congratulations to everyone involved with the Castleconnor GAA for All programme. Ballina Autism Friendly Town representative Elisha Beattie visited their final session of the year on Saturday. She was delighted to accredit the club as an Autism Champion and presented them with a sensory box. This was in recognition of all the hard work and commitment the coaches have given, creating an inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. Some of the coaches have completed AsIAm Autism Training while others took part in Disability and Inclusion Training last year with Shane Hayes (Disability and Inclusion Officer) in Sligo Sports and Recreation Partnership. Well done to our All Stars who took part each week along with their siblings, we truly hope you enjoyed the fun and games. We are also extremely grateful to their parents and guardians who brought the children along. Looking forward to seeing you all again in 2026.
