It’s a magical sight to see new life starting in the allotments ♥️ one of our members Kris sent us this photo and it really is such a beautiful sight to see ♥️ it’s all starting here again, the chats along the pathway in the sunshine, the home grown fruits and veggies that taste like nothing else! Not to mind say the peace of mind you get when working away doing your thing creating a sustainable life for your self. If your interested in having a slice of heaven for yourself this season drop us a message, we have a couple of plots available as of now, you won’t regret it ♥️

It is wonderful that you can still harvest all these gorgeous veggies 🥕 🧅 🧄 these belong to Alex, any he’s making a hearty pot of soup with these! Exactly what we need on this cold and windy winters day. Excellent job 👌🏻

So I gave my leeks a haircut! ✂️ I believe that when leek leaves grow high and the the stalk hasn’t thickened up they need to be cut in order to send the growing energy back down to the core part of the plant instead of using it to grow the leaves big and tall. So I thoroughly enjoyed this therapy during the week and I am excited to see if this theory works

Where do you buy your seeds/seedlings? A suggestion post for everyone to input their info and share your favourite garden Centre’s/shops/ online retailers. I will start us off with my latest purchases coming from “Greenvegetableseeds.com”. I really like the section and the fact they were selected by Klaus Laitenberger so you know you are getting really good varieties for our climate.
