Over the past number of months we have all carried the burden of COVID-19. We have all made sacrifices, some big, some small and for some, the ultimate sacrifice.

As we continue to live with this virus, it is important not to loose focus on the goal. We understand it is tough and for some has changed their lives dramatically.

By continuing to do small things such as wearing face masks, hand washing, distancing, avoiding crowds and practicing cough and sneeze etiquette we can make a difference. These are things we can all do and for most, all that they need to do.

This is not about individual needs and preferences, this is about all doing what we can to spread the burden of this virus and working together to make this shared society a safe one.

This virus is a burden, but by working together and sharing that burden the closer we get to businesses reopening, larger gatherings and less restrictions.

Spare a thought for those more effected than you, who have lost more than you and who are more at risk that you and think, what can I do?
