The 4th and final artist appearing at the WIld Atlantic Writers Round this Friday April 3rd is Ó hEaráin (pronounced "O Aran"), the solo project of Donegal-born songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Herron.

Tickets from https://balorartscentre.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873662830

Over the past decade, Herron has built a reputation as an accomplished session musician, performing and touring with artists including Little Hours, Stephanie Rainey, and Clare Sands. He was also one-third of Cork-based indie rock band Rowan, contributing his songwriting and musicianship to their acclaimed debut album Does It Make You Happy?

With Ó hEaráin, Herron steps into a new chapter, one that reconnects him with his folk and traditional roots, lending his own voice to the songwriting. His debut single, “Feel It All,” recorded live, captures the raw vulnerability and quiet strength that comes with embracing life’s unpredictable journey. His second single “On My Mind,” blends folk with hints of traditional Irish and Americana influences to explore love, memory, and acceptance from the perspective of someone approaching the end of life.

The 3rd artist appearing at our Wild Atlantic Writers Round this Friday (tickets from https://balorartscentre.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873662830 ) is Tera Lynne from St Louis...

Combining high-gloss glamour with working-class roots, Tera Lynne makes her own version of empowered, pop-kissed Americana. It's a southern sound that's raw one minute and refined the next, created by a frontwoman whose songs balance big questions with even bigger melodies.

Raised on the outskirts of St. Louis, Lynne grew up listening to a mix of '90s country singers, rock & roll stars, and Rat Pack crooners. That diversity left a permanent mark, inspiring the music she’d eventually make after moving to Nashville and cutting her teeth on the honky-tonk stages of Lower Broadway. Those gigs eventually gave way to shows across the world, from headlining performances at the Badenfahrt Folk Fest in Switzerland to opening sets for Thomas Rhett in America.
