This piece has finally made its way home🥰
The dresser was sent to Belfast during the winter months to be dewormed and stripped and had been in storage drying out till now. We didn’t think it would survive the trip to the doctor and back but it did and we’re so glad!
The dresser first came to the farmhouse nearly 100 years ago. It was made in the 1800’s and brought here by my great, great grandmother when she moved home from Scotland.
It is of great sentimental value to my great aunt and great uncle (both now in their 90’s). Seeing their reaction to the dresser being salvaged made it very much worth the effort💖
It just needs a light sand and some natural oil or beeswax now and it’ll be perfect😍
