🌊❤️ Mayo Woman Takes on 12 Dips in December for Heart Health
Belmullet business owner Mandy Carabine of Daybreak Belmullet is braving the icy Atlantic this December as part of the Irish Heart Foundation’s 12 Dips in December challenge.

Inspired by the loss of her father, Frank Brogan, who died suddenly of a heart attack aged 62, Mandy and her colleagues are taking on a dozen cold-water dips in Belmullet’s tidal pool to raise awareness and vital funds for heart disease and stroke.

“Icy but exhilarating — and all for a cause that could help save lives,” says Mandy, who hopes the challenge will also highlight the importance of regular health checks.

💙 The nationwide initiative is proudly supported by Daybreak, bringing communities together across Ireland for heart health.
