The Ballyvaughan Medical Centre is a rural General practice located in Ballyvaughan, Co. We currently have two GP's (doctors) Dr.Liam Glynn and Dr. John O'Dea, two Practice Nurses Ailish and Eva, a Practice Manager and a Receptionist. As part of the North Clare Primary care team we have a community registered nurse, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist who work from the building also. As well as general practice and family medicine, we also offer a wide range of special services, including:

Winter Season Announcement: Extended Clinic Hours

To better serve our community during the winter months, Ballyvaughan Medical Centre is pleased to
announce additional clinic hours on Thursdays evenings starting on the 11 th of December 2025.
For 10 weeks we will remain open for additional 2 hrs in the evening every Thursday as part of HSE
Winter Initiative.
These extended hours are designed to provide more flexibility for patients seeking care related to
seasonal illness.
We encourage patients to book appointments in advance. Walk-ins will be accommodated based on
availability.
