Patrick Wilson (better known as Pa**ie), Drum, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by his family on 26th December 2025.
Predeceased by his parents George and Anne Wilson and his sister Mary Hunt.
Beloved brother of Bridie, George, William, Frank and Ann. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews Aishling, David, Laura, Isabel, Conor, Daniel, Bailey, Shannon, Mandy and Jamie, grandniece and grandnephews Georgia Rose, Oliver and Bradley, aunts Agnes (Cartron, Clogher, Belmullet) and Helen (Melbourne, Australia), uncle Michael (Melbourne, Australia), sisters in law, brothers in law, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Pa**ie’s remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 6.30 with funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock with the funeral proceeding to the Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78 for arrival at 4pm followed by committal service at 4.30.
Live-streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock on McDonnell Funeral Directors page with all other funeral services available for viewing on Wednesday evening at 5 o’clock.

Martin Hefferon, Muing, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the University College Hospital Galway on 25thDecember 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Shirley, parents Peter and Mary and his brothers and sisters.
Beloved father of Martin and dear grandfather of Holly. He will be sadly missed by his family, brother Bertie, sisters Una and May, Holly’s Mum Inga and her husband Agrius and their boys, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Martin will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 3.30 until 5 o’clock with the funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne at 6.30. Funeral Mass on Monday afternoon at 12.30 followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Rob Turner, Bunnawillian, Bunnahowen, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at his residence on 22nd December 2025. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Sally Turner, sister Linda, father in law Jack Ruddy, mother in law Pat. Beloved husband of Maureen (née Ruddy), dear father of Ali, Samantha and Jack and cherished grandfather to Danielle, Nathan, Charlie, Jack, Katie, Kayla and Finn. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his heartbroken family, son in law Killian, daughter in law Sarah, brothers Alan and Paul, siters Wendy and Angie, his colleagues and students at Our Lady’s Secondary School, Belmullet, kind neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen Lavelle, sister Bridget, brother Seamus and brother in law Paddy Joe Conway.
Beloved husband of Mary and dear father of Karen, Seán, Martina, Christine, Eilish and James and cherished grandfather to Kate, Patrick, James, Daniel, Ryan, Adam, David and Chloe. Martin will sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, sons in law Colm McDonnell (Kildare), James Lavelle (Belmullet) and Brendan Barry (Kilkenny), brother Seán (Kiltimagh), sisters Mary Hall (London) and Roseanne McDonagh (Galway), sisters in law Theresa Lavelle, Mary Lavelle and Teresa Garvin, brothers in law Michael Hall, Martin McDonagh, Michael Moran, Noel Conway and Martin Francis Conway, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased by her parents Michael (Currane, Achill) and Jean O’Malley and her nephew Michael Gerard (JED). Beloved sister of Michael O’Malley (Faulmore, Blacksod), Rosemarie Geraghty (Faulmore, Blacksod) and Yvonne Keane (Glosh, Blacksod). She will be sadly missed by her brother, sisters, brothers in law Mike Geraghty and Michael John Keane, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, relatives, Staff of the Western Care Respite and Day Services (Belmullet), neighbours and friends.
