Predeceased by his parents Eileen and John, brother Seán and sisters Chrissy and Mona.

Beloved and devoted husband to Geraldine, cherished father to Joanna and grandfather to his adored grandchild Fiadh.

He will be sadly missed by his family, devoted son-in-law Aaron Flannery, sisters Margaret Ann Murphy (Claremorris), Rita McHale (Belderrig), Bernie Maughan (Moygownagh), Madeline Togher (Morahan, Belmullet) and Nora McNulty (Belderrig), nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Joachim will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 3.30 until 5.30 with the funeral arriving at St. Teresa’s Church, Belderrig at 7.30.

Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial in Belderrig Cemetery.

Vincent McDonnell, Carne, Belmullet and formerly of Glencalry, Belderrig, Ballina, Co. Mayo peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of the I.C.U. of Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on 16thFebruary 2026.

Predeceased by his infant son James, parents John and Katie McDonnell, his brother Padraig and his recently deceased nephew Eugene.
Beloved husband of Ann, dear father of Áine, Amelia, Stephen, Eileen and Vinny and cherished grandfather to his adored grandchildren Daragh, Katie Mai, Ethan, Seán, Rachel, David, Jessica, Mya and Emily. He will be sadly missed by his family, son in law David, daughters in law Karen and Niamh, sisters Maura and Caitlín, brothers in law Owen and Michael, sister in law Anne, nieces, nephews, former colleagues and students of St. Brendan’s College, Belmullet, kind neighbours and many friends.

Vincent will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Friday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne on Saturday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Predeceased by his beloved mother Patricia.
Beloved son of Tim, dear brother of Micheál, Ciarán, Tadhg, Rory and Susan and wonderful uncle to his adored nieces and nephews James, Tadhg, Ruairí, Harry, Liam, Saoirse, Charlie, Tom, Sophie, Niall, Megan, Jane and George. Sean Barrett, Leeds and late of "The River", Bunnahowen, Glencastle, Belmullet, Co. Mayo who died peacefully on the 15th January 2026.
Predeceased by his parents Larry and Bridget Barrett, his brothers and sisters.
Sean will be deeply missed by his wife Carol, son Damien, grandsons John Joe and Kian and their mother Tracey Scanlon. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, relatives and wide circle of friends

John will be received into the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 294 Harrogate Rd, Moortown, Leeds LS17 6LE on Saturday, 7th February with Requiem Mass being held at 10am followed by interment at Killingbeck Cemetery, York Road, LS14 6AB.

Predeceased by his parents Mike and Ellen (née Mangan), sister Emily and brothers Charlie and Thady.
He will be survived by his sister Sheila Reilly (Carne, Belmullet), nieces, nephews and relatives.

Lynn Hefferon (née Pettinger), Muing, Carne Fowler, Belmullet, Co. Mayo, and formerly of Worksop, Nottinghamshire, England, passed away peacefully after a long illness, in the excellent care of the staff at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by her loving family on the 20th of January 2026.
Beloved wife of Bertie and deeply loved mother to Peter, Katherine, Sara, Brydie, Michael, Dawn. Lynn will be forever missed by her heartbroken children and her cherished grandchildren: Ciara, Ellie, Jason, David, James, Ava, Adam, Lauren, Jamie, Sorcha, Roisin, Gareth, Erin, Imogen, daughter-in-law Hailey, son-in-laws Gary, Martin and Charlie, brothers Trevor, David, Stuart, sisters Dawn and Tracey, sister-in-laws May and Una and niece Teresa.
Lynn is predeceased by her mother Audrey, sister Carol and brother Tony.

Predeceased by his parents Mike and Eileen, brother Des, nephews Michael and Ian McNulty and Brian McCann, also remembering Stephen Walsh (Leah’s partner) and brothers in law John McNulty, Jim McCann and Roy Hubble.
Beloved father of Michelle (Westport), Joanne (Claregalway, Co. Galway), Ciara (Knocknacarra, Galway), Dean (London) and their mother Anne and his adored grandchildren Leah, Ellie, Daniel, Kate, Éabha, Jack, Isla and Anna.
