Today was one of the nicest days in a very long time, Mother’s Day was spent in the polytunnell, digging, watering, planting and planning too.
To make it even more special, my other half cooked a gorgeous dinner and I’m now bursting 😂
The spuds, cabbage, onions, chives, thyme, tomatoes, dill and chillies, sunflowers, nasturtiums and sweet peas are planted or set (panic not, any delicate seeds are on various windowsills indoors until ready to be planted out🤓).
Next up, various lettuce and spinach varieties. My goal is to use the companion planting method to attract pollinators and deter slugs etc, updates will be posted of course.
The body is aching but the mind is happy!
As I gardened, I thought about our next yoga classes, we’ve been working on Moon Salutations for the last couple of weeks and for the next 2, I’m planning on exploring various hip opening poses to help soothe and strengthen. Did you know that our hips are said to store emotions?
If you’d like to join us pop a wee text and do let me know which class you’d like to attend and if it’s 1 or 2?
Thanks a million.
