One of the greatest benefits of healing/Reiki is stress reduction and relaxation, which triggers the bodies natural healing abilities, and improves and maintains health. Reiki healing is a natural therapy that gently balances life energies and brings health and well being to the recipient. Reiki is a specific type of subtle energy work in which healing is performed by the touch of the hands, allowing the flow of the energy from a limitless source (God Force) to the patient via the Reiki practitioner. It is extremely powerful, yet gentle energy that can be easily channelled to yourself and others, just by intention. Reiki healing is a pure energy form. When it is combined with the sincere Desire of the Healee, who is willing to effect a cleansing within their emotional and spiritual consciousness, a total healing can occur. This simple, non-invasive healing system works with the Higher Self of the Receiver to promote health and well being of the entire physical, emotional and psychic body. Therefore it is truly a system of attaining and promoting wholeness of Mind, Body and Spirit.

Easy pose for tight back and shoulders ✨️

✨️Top Tip✨️
Do this easy pose daily and feel your body easing out all the tightness and stress.

Guidance:
Start on your hands and knees.

Adjust your feet so you heels are almost touching one another. Shift your weight back to bring your sit bones to resting on your heels.

1. To avoid foot cramps, place a cushion under your feet and let yoir toes hang over the end of the cushion.

2. If your knees are tight or sore , place a cushion under your buttock.

3.Walk your hands forward to straighten out your arms.

4.Lower your chest onto your thighs, and lower your forehead to the floor.

5.Rest your elbows, forearms and palms on the floor in front of you. (Or, stack your hands under your forehead to ensure your neck is comfortable.)

6.Direct your breath to your lower back and side ribs. Expand the back of your body when you inhale and release into the mat on your exhale.

Hold for 10 slow breath cycles.

7. If you are new to yoga, try adding these poses to your once or twice a week, working up to three times per week. Additionally, if you feel your back pain increasing or your back stiffening up, try these poses before reaching into the medicine cabinet.

This Bank Holiday, give yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be.
Resting allows the body to restore, the mind to soften, and the soul to realign with peace.

Take a mindful walk, feel the autumn air, light a candle, stretch, or just sit quietly —
whatever helps you reconnect with your own rhythm.

Twist is a great way to stretch out your back, neck and shoulders releasing stress and tension.

Here's a simple version:
🍂 Guidelines:
Lie on your back with your arms outstretched in a "T" shape, palms facing up.

Knees Bent: Bring your knees toward your chest and keep your feet flat on the floor.

Twist: Slowly drop both knees to one side (e.g., to the left) while keeping your shoulders pressed down on the mat. Your head can turn in the opposite direction of your knees (e.g., to the right).

Hold: Stay in this position for up to 1 minute, breathing slowly.

Switch Sides: Gently bring your knees back to the center, then drop them to the other side.

This pose helps stretch the spine, improve flexibility, and ease lower back tension.
