The death has taken place at home of Augustine (Gus) Conry, Buncrana (formerly of Swinford, Co.Mayo and Quin, Co. Clare).

Beloved husband of Betty (nee Doherty (PB)) and loving father of James, Esther and Clare.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by Betty, his children, his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Gus's remains will be reposing at McLaughlin's funeral home Buncrana on Thursday 9th of April from 6p.m until 9p.m.

Funeral from there on Friday 10th at 10:30a.m. going to St Mary's church Cockhill for 11o'clock Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Chalie’s remains will be reposing at his Home, Miltown, Buncrana F93 K7FE on Wednesday 1st of April from 12:30 p.m.

Leaving from there on Thursday 2nd at 12:30 for 1pm service in St Mary’s Church Cockhill, followed by Interment in the adjoing Cemetery.

Loving wife of Jimmy and dear mother of Ciaran (Dena), James (Antoinette), Peter (Bernie) and Brian (Caroline). Predeceased by her infant daughters, Martina and Claire. Grandmother of Molly and Pauric, and dear sister of Shaun (Kathleen) and Peter (Tottsie R.I.P.).

Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, nieces, nephews, family circle and friends.

Acknowledgement & Month’s Mind Mass

We, the family of the late Jim Henderson wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us following the passing of our much-loved father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother.

We would like to thank all who attended the wake and funeral, and all who sent mass cards and messages of condolences. We are also very grateful to our family, friends and Jim’s neighbours for their generosity, help and kindness during the wake.

We are especially grateful to all those who cared for Jim throughout his illness, Tierney’s Healthwise, all the staff at the Buncrana Medical Centre, Letterkenny University Hospital and all of Jim’s carers.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Bradley for his spiritual support and funeral mass.

Thank you also to Laura Keogh, Lailah Keogh, Noel Thompson, Niamh McLaughlin and Zeva Kelly for the beautiful music and singing at the funeral mass.

We would like to sincerely thank McLaughlin & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their guidance, compassion and professionalism throughout the wake and funeral.

The death has occurred of Jim Henderson, 7 Lisowen Avenue, Buncrana, Co. Donegal, F93 D9N7.

Jim died peacefully surrounded by those he loved on Friday, 23rd January 2026.

Deeply mourned by his sons, Martin, Liam, Sean and Hugh Patrick

He will always be fondly remembered also by his daughters-in-law Elaine and Marie, and by his grandchildren Michael, Megan, James, Shay, Caolan, Ultan, Sally, Emma and Cara.

Also by his much-loved brothers Hugh, Danny, Jackie and his sister, Mary.

As well as all of his extended family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, former colleagues and many friends.

Predeceased by his precious and beloved wife Sally and son Kieran.

Jim’s remains will leave McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Buncrana, this evening (Friday) at 4pm going to his home.

Acknowledgement & Month’s Mind Mass

We, the family of the late William Grant, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to all those who supported us following the passing of our much loved father.

We are especially grateful to the carers and nurses who cared for him with such kindness and dignity.

We thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, and all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of condolence, giving us wonderful support during the days surrounding the wake and funeral.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Francis Bradley for his spiritual support and for celebrating such a personal and meaningful Funeral Mass. Thank you also to Hugh and Marie for the beautiful music and singing, which added greatly to the service.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. A Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
