We are absolutely delighted to announce the final total of Inishowen shoeboxes for this year is 1,927. Thank you so much! It was amazing to have 28 schools taking part this year from Malin Head to M**f and including three Derry schools as well. Special thanks too to our amazing team of volunteers who worked so hard to check and pack all those boxes in just two weeks flat (even loading the lorry in the snow!!). 👏👏👏👏👏 Team Hope Donegal Volunteer Centre

🌟 From Winter Walkers to Buncrana parkrun Trailblazers! 🌟

Back in the freezing days of January, two amazing Slimming World members Suzanne Meager Mceleney & Lorraine Friel took their first brave step into Parkrun/Parkwalk. They started with simple walks, added a little jogging, and kept showing up every single week.

Fast forward to now → they’ve completed loads of Parkruns, smashed their personal bests, and are even volunteering as trail walkers to support others on their own journeys. 💛

If you ever need motivation, just look at these two incredible ladies. They’re not out to beat anyone else — only their own best time. Proof that small steps in winter can lead to big achievements all year round. 🌿✨
